What's your name

Blood spilled from his body and I watched life spill from his eyes. My shoes were gonna get dirty if it came any closer. I went back around the corner where the rest of the army was. They were going into the building, presumably to get some recourses but some stayed outside watching over. I joined them and stared over the town. It was quite dirty and poor. The people seemed aware of us and some where already packing their bags to leave.

After about two hours they returned. "Now soldiers, we shall go down to the village!" yelled the commander, "Take whatever you want but of all valuables 10% must be given to us". I didn't like him. He always took credit for everything even though he mostly watched on as we fought enemies. I went on ahead into the village with my bow and arrow in hand. People scattered as we walked by like rats. I pulled my string and shot a man. He reached out to his son and said some words I couldn't hear. The kid ran away and I let him go. "Why'd you kill him" asked my comrade.

"I don't know, I just wanted to I guess" I said walking into a house. I ransacked the house but only found a ring next to a picture. It had the man, a woman and the son in it. They must've had a nice life before.

Night fell and we slept inside the houses. I however couldn't fall asleep. I looked outside the window. The moon shone brightly and was especially beautiful this night. However, it left me empty. It was beautiful but it wasn't breathtaking, it wasn't true beauty. I couldn't lose myself in it, I couldn't forget everything, it was too simple. I wish I could find something like that. Soon enough, the sun returned. It wasn't beautiful at all as it couldn't be seen. We began our march to the North, the heart of this nation. The plan was to sieze the headquarters, thus severely limiting their fighting power and eventually capturing the King.

I had no friends in this army, all of them where spineless sheep who weilded a sword and above all they were led by another greedier sheep. They were all dirty scoundrels who deserved to die. The terrain was rough and difficult to travel through so we decided to set up camp midway through. There was little food left so I didn't eat at all and instead looked on. Once again, night fell however, this night was different. A tall wind appeared and decimated our people who were all bunched up. I watched as they were picked up and thrown to their deaths. I ran and didn't look back. As if the world hated me, rain began to pour. My clothes became grey and finally I stopped running. I looked back and everyone of those sheep were gone. It was the most beautiful sight I'd laid eyes upon but, I still was not satisfied. I still had my thoughts, I didn't lose myself. Then suddenly a voice behind me said, "Hello, what's your name?".
