CHAPTER-29(loyalty has been always blind that can't see morality and even the massive destruction in the name of patriotism)

Ex Regent himself met with Evelina.

"What's going on!!...Why you're here in this awful condition?"Evelina asked him after seeing him.

"Listen to me....you're the Southern Commander. You're a righteous person. Not blindfolded like others.Only you can save me. Please save me. They'll kill me." The ex Regent arged.

"I'm here to save you indeed...but tell me what actually happened?" Evelina asked.

"Actually....our late Emperor....."

"Yeah..tell me what's with that?"

"He didn't died of illness. The new Emperor killed him by slow poisoning..."

"What ...you mean Jordan kill him." Evelina's eyes got widen. She got a big shocked.

"Yeah... actually the young Prince couldn't tolerate that continuous tortures all these years. There wasn't any end. Even though the tortures were limited and the late Emperor always considered while punishing him. He just wanted him to reflect on his mistakes. But on the other hand the Prince was in an inclination of bringing you back. And waiting was impossible for him as everything remained the same even after passing a lot of years.So after waiting 5 years he couldn't have patience anymore and killed his own father. So that the Emperor couldn't restrict him from bringing you back... But accidentally I found out the evidences of mudder ...So...." Ex Regent said.

"Jordan did such a vulnerable thing. Oh...." Evelina touched her head with a grievance.

"Here he is." Some soldiers shouted. They were finding the ex Regent for a long time,so they began to attack immediately after seeing him.

Evelina fight back. And give a counter attack. There were so many soldiers.  Evelina killed or wounded them one by one.

Soon Andreas and Federico came to the spot. They watch from a little distance riding on the horses.

They couldn't recognize Evelina. Evelina was fighting so hard.

She tried her best to save the ex Regent. But suddenly an arrow pinched in the chest of the Regent and he fall down.

Evelina looked behind. The arrow was from Jordan. He also came here  !?!  Evelina tried to cover the ex Regent but one of the soldiers hit on her stomach.

Evelina suddenly felt too much pain after getting hited by the soldier. It was a slight hit. She didn't expect to get this amount of pain just by a minor punch.

She can endure so much pain but this pain is different. It's untolarable. Evelina dropped her sword on the ground and touched her belly. 

She kneel down. Jordan saw her and quickly recognize her.

"Oh no.... it's Evelina....what the hell is she doing here. Andreas hurry up." Jordan got down from the horse and stopped all the soldiers.

Andreas and Federico followed Jordan.

Evelina looked at Jordan's coming and but she fainted out before Jordan could reach him.

Jordan picked up Evelina. She was bleeding terrible. Her legs drenched with blood and Jordan's hand also got painted red.

They took her to the Palace.

After two days.....

Evelina get back to her senses and found herself laying on a bed. She's in the Palace.

She sat up. Her stomach is still aching. She looked at a physician. 

The female physician was observing her sitting on a corner.

"Oh..my Empress. You've finally wake up. You were unconscious for two days." the physician said.

"What happened to me." 

"You were 1month pregnant." 

"Really... you're telling the truth." Evelina became so happy. It's like she heard the most pleasant words in the world.As if the paradise came down to her hands.

"But , your Highness.... you've faced a miscarriage. So the fetus is no longer in your belly." The physician lowered her head.

"What...!" Evelina brusted into tears. A moment before , she was in heaven. Now everything turned in a lowest point of hell.

Evelina's heart is paining more than her stomach.

She stood up.

"Where's  Jordan?" She asked with her red eyes.

"My Lord is in outside. He continuously stayed beside you all these days. Now I'm here to check you.That's why he's outside."

Evelina walk outside.

"Wait.... you're still weak. Don't walk like this."

Evelina ignore the physician and went outside and saw Jordan standing with Andreas and Federico.

"Jordan....!" Evelina said in a painful low voice.

"Eve....." Jordan pulled her in his lap.

"Are you alright..." Jordan kissed on her forehead.

"Our  baby....they said..." Evelina cried loudly.

"It's okay... it's okay...we can have another one in the future. Nothing ruined..... Just relax." Jordan also cried but he controlled his emotions.

Then he carried her inside towards the bed.

Jordan laid her on the bed and kissed away her tears.

"It's ok... don't cry. You're too weak now.  Don't be upset." Jordan said while keeping her in his embrace.

Evelina said nothing. She just hugged Jordan and cried as long as possible. 

Jordan also cried silently.

"Please don't cry anymore. I can't see your tears. " Jordan said.

Evelina stopped crying.

"Jordan ....."

"Yeah....."

"I wanna take some rest."

"Okay... I'm staying here. You try to sleep. "

"No... I want some space. Can you leave me alone for sometimes." Evelina said.

"But eve....." Jordan was about to say something but Andreas cut off him.

"My Lord...let's  give her some time." Andreas nodded with Evelina.

Jordan couldn't help but listen to Andreas and left with them.

Evelina close her eyes and take a deep breath . She still trying to understand what's just happened.

Jordan killed his own father just to get her.  But  She's the main reason of the death of their Emperor. Evelina couldn't think that Jordan would cross his limits like this just to get her. Al the end, a patriot soldier like her became the reason of her Lord's death. How would she bear this sin all over her life.... It is too heavy to carry for her as a burden. And Andreas didn't stop Jordan but helped him in that crime instead. He got totally blind because of Jordan....How could they do all these so shamelessly....

And between all these she lost her baby.  Oh that little innocent life....

Evelina cried again. Why all these happened to her. It's all her fault. If she accept Jordan earlier then samuel, ex emperor, the ex Regent,her baby .... everyone would be alive. 

She can understand Jordan emotions and why he did all these. It's not totally his fault. He has been raised like this from his childhood. Without love and Everytime in fear of death.

Evelina look at the sword . She should kill herself. Just because of her, all these happened.

Evelina was about to take the sword but another thought appeared in her mind.  If she killed herself, Jordan will be gone mad. 

He's the Emperor now. His every wrong steps can affect the the nation. What if he destroy the whole cavalry.

Evelina dared not to suicide. She shouted loudly. 

What is this helplessness.....How to repent for this sin...

What to do now...Jordan did a terrible thing. But indirectly the Emperor died because of her own.

How could she live with this guilt . But She can't even die.

She should forget everything and think about the nation first . Will it be okay if she starts a new like forgetting everything as Jordan suggested.

"Oh...I can't think ....what do I do?" Evelina bit her lips .

Her tears kept overflowing from her eyes.

She thought the whole day....

Everyone has their own point of views and they always consider them as the most flawless one. People tends to have this misconception about themselves. They think their decision is the best one amongst others... . But sometimes the situation turns up unexpected and everything goes wrong because of that partial decision.

Jordan- who only knows how to love. Right or wrong doesn't matter in front of his pure love. ( A struggling or unfortunate love)

Evelina- who loves everyone. But the most she loves her nation or her rightous way.( An honest and genuine love)

Samuel- who always waited for his love( a sacrificial love)

Andreas- who always gives second priority to his love and ist priority to his loyalty. ( A blind love)

Martha- who always wants to see her loving one's smile by helping him Everytime.( A silent love)
