H.I.D.C.A is the name of the city Presley Qiaodi is a reserved 17-year-old boy of Asian descent and his best friend and now roommate Mitchum Charles since the first day of high school moved to attend college. Including being the name of the city, HIDCA has a darker meaning in slang by the locals which the two only realize the hard way.
So though the college itself is a technological advancement and a known safe place for students human problems still exist. The city isn't all fun and games and precautions need to be taken. The underside of crimes that happen every day is easily overlooked by others but mixed in with teen drama wouldn't blend well. Even though Presley seeks to avoid getting involved, he may find it harder to do so because of those around him and the direct linkage to those at his school which is supposed to be their safe space.
How Presley copes with city life through his experiences he never talks about may be just what it takes for him and his friend to survive their college experience.
Hi so I'm the author of this book and I'm writing a review myself because why not. I think my book is adventurous and the futuristic world of characters in it is amazing. I worked hard in writing witty dialogue and interesting situations which vary from serious but not taking the humor and mystery out of it. The characters are not just there to support the main character but they all contribute to making it diverse. Better yet It takes place at a time in their lives when they are all away from their home at College or university for the first time in a new city of H.I.D.C.A which as they learn has a darker meaning among the locals despite being the number 1 school. I try to update on a weekly basis. Give it a read and see for yourself and feel free to review and/or comment.

So far so good, I have only read few chapters, but I think it already time to give a review, reading this book as been incredible, I find myself falling in love with the characters and the realistic scenarios, the fiction and imagination of the author is perfect, he/she knows what they are doing.. The synopsis alone is enough to catch the attention of readers, like I said earlier this work of art is amazing and I really do want it to be recommended .. But for now, author keep on striving, you would get there, you have my support in this amazing journey of us.. Well done, I would keep on reading to find out what happens next
I love the story so far. The story line flows naturally, and your grammar isn't too bad. The story really interests me, especially since I want to be a doctor one day. Can't wait to see what happens next😊 keep up the good work, author!
After reading the first chapter, I decided to give a review of this book and I can say that I have already became addicted and impressed.More chaps Author.
A little slow but has an interesting concept. I first thought it was a fanfic judging from the title (lol) but it's actually really well written. Maybe I just don't really like slow paced things ahaha.
A nice story with promising plot. The characters are good but the Author can do more on sentence construction. Five stars from me. Keep up the good work.

I love the way the book started and how one of the character is chatty and the other non-chatty, it's a good blend of characters and the descriptions are really good.
I was immediately drawn to this novel because of the character on the cover. I love Asian dramas. Reading the book, I am pleased by the quality of writing and the story development. It's unpredictable and interesting with diverse characters from different ethic groups and disabled characters which makes it an inclusive read.
