The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

Breaker: From A Nobody To A Villainess

Ash looked over the various masks that the fighters had to wear and she tried to figure out which one she would wear.

Each of the masks looked to be quite tight and secure so that they would remain on the faces of the fighters under all kinds of circumstances while they had eye, nose and mouth holes positioned correctly.

While they did look secure and difficult to cause damage to, they did not protect those wearing them.

Ash tried to recall her distant past of times when she was a child but only a couple of memories came up that were slightly helpful.

There was one memory in particular that stood out from when she was always climbing and swinging on the bars in the playground.

Children would call her a female gorilla at times or monkey since she was always doing many of the more difficult physical activities that required a lot more strength, balance and flexibility.
