The ordinary world is not what it seems.
Many strange events unfold in the background but go unnoticed by the masses or are covered up.
A supernatural world exists along with the natural world which can only be seen by those called Balancers.
Spirits and Evil Spirits exist along with Balancers who possess unique powers to see and fight them.
Among the many ordinary humans, a girl undergoes a lot of suffering and experiences a prophetic vision.
It grants her knowledge of the hidden world and of some future events.
The girl loses almost everything she has and then takes the steps needed to become a Balance Breaker.
Her past identity has to be abandoned for the sake of survival so she renamed herself Ash.
Ash gains the powers of a Skin-Walker and begins living in such a world taking on the appearances of others, experiencing their lives and living under the mask of another person.

Such conditions made it difficult for her to study the other fighters and to have some idea of what to expect from her potential opponents.

There was a clear division of status and roles that awarded certain privileges to the viewers while there was a different treatment toward the participants.

According to what Ash knew, the fighters who had already fought would be moved to another room while the heavily injured would be brought to another to get treatment.

As for those who died, they would be moved to another location so that they could be disposed of cleanly.

The door opened again as the same people walked inside dressed in smart suits that were paired with the masks they wore.
