Void Exchange Hall (2)

A short time passed and I finished exchanging my items for merit points. It took a couple of hours but it was definitely worth it.

"Alright, I have tallied your Void Merits. This is the number you have now. With this you could purchase more than you'd ever need." The Woman said, showing me the amount.

"Good! I'd like to exchange for 100 Low grade Emperor Crystals. 1000 High grade Saint Crystals and then the remainder of the points I'd like to exchange for the Mid Grade Saint Crystals. Is this possible?" I asked, pondering my thoughts.

"Indeed, though it's odd to hear someone at the Immortal Ascension Realm ask for these items. They usually ask for Spirit stones instead. Are you sure you'd like to exchange these items?" The woman asked, now with a look of confusion on her face.

"Indeed, every cultivator has their own secrets and their own methods. I naturally have my reasons for exchanging these items. Though could you have a high capacity space ring in there as well? I find it troublesome to keep everything in order. That is… if everything is contained within the same space ring." I said seriously at first then quickly turned playful and chuckling lightly.

"The Dao Master's Son, It's no surprise that such a person would have some method that makes these items useful. I'll exchange them right away." The Woman said with a bright smile.

A few moments later, the woman came back with a space ring that stored all of the items I had been looking for.

"Here you are. With this you don't have many merits left. I look forward to seeing you again next time." The woman said joyfully.

"Indeed, it is always a good day when acquaintances can meet again. Perhaps next you won't be flustered and hit your head again. It would be a shame for a beauty such as Senior Sister to lose out. I'll leave first so the Hall can return to ordered business. I apologize for the disruption. My fate see you well." I said, then began to walk towards the exit.

"I look forward to the next time, Junior Brother Wang'er! Bring a lot more next time this Senior Sister Xia will help you again." The woman who just helped me said as I left.

"Hmm so her name was Xia. A good name." I thought to myself.

I simply raised my hand and waved. I might as well keep up some of the mystery about myself. So let's give them a show like this.

I took a glance to my left and saw the figure of a man. He was one of the Deacons' helpers. He was clearly at the Origin Returning Realm. But yet I still could see him. Though it wasn't hard to be honest it was quite a pathetic display. How did those Saint Realm and Saint King Realms not see this guy? He is barely concealing himself.

"Can Junior see me?" The man sent me a voice message through divine sense.

"Indeed, I can, Senior. Forgive me for saying so but this concealment method does not suit the Senior. I don't know how to fix it myself. I'm not well practiced in these matters myself. However, those Peak Saint Kings can clearly see you as well. At first I thought it was odd they couldn't. After a quick thought it seems they just didn't dare to say anything." I said simply. My waved hand went back to its rightful place. My fists meeting behind my back.

The man was shocked that his concealment method was seen through. Sure enough in his moment of wonder while looking at his hands. The Saint Kings in the Hall almost all let out a chuckle. They knew exactly where the man was. "This kid is truly a wonder of this world. I'm an Origin Realm Master. How did he see through it…" The Man turned around in a panic.

The only thing he saw was empty space. I had already disappeared. Shot off like a bolt of lightning. Nowhere to be seen.

"The Dao Master's Son is naturally very mysterious. He has the reputation of the Dao Master to live up to. It doesn't surprise this Disciple he was able to see through Seniors Concealment technique." A Saint King's voice rang out in the man's head.

"I thought he might have been using a concealment method of sorts. Instead it seems the Dao Master's Son is actually far stronger than we gave him credit for." The Origin Returning Realm said, as a bead of sweat dripped down his face.

"Ahahaha, Senior, all I can say is I wouldn't want to fight him myself either. I'm afraid that boy has something powerful to fall back on. Something that I would not survive against. So just relax and understand that even among us Geniuses of the Void Temple. If Wang An Leiji claimed to be the second, who would dare to claim first?" The Saint King laughed, seemingly satisfied with his own lot.

~~In the Skies of the Void World~~

A single bolt of lightning could be seen flashing through the sky. As it passed by villages the common mortal people would pray. The fact that a cultivator could be seen was already a good fortune for these people.

A few moments passed and I had already traveled quite far. My reason for doing this was to head towards the World Tree SubTree that my father Yang Kai told me about. With knowledge of the Trees location and an immense amount of cultivation resources it was time to rapidly improve my strength.

As I flew through the Void World I could see many things going on. Both good and bad. Thankfully though it seemed to equal out. As such I didn't want to interfere. That is, unless a cultivator takes action against the common people. Like the hidden enemy we find ourselves fighting.

I would have asked my father why there was such an evil sect allowed to exist in his Small Universe. However, it was clear to me already. This was one of the earlier methods he had arranged for the inhabitants to learn and grow. He doesn't wish to grow flowers in a greenhouse. So even if it seems evil at a glance. It's truly for the best.
