Subtree Cultivation (3)

~~1 month later~~

My cultivation improved to the peak of the 8th Stage of the Immortal Ascension Realm. I decided to slow down my realm's improvement slightly. This was to refine my foundation. This was the perfect place for me to do so. This is because of the innate effect such an environment has on one's foundation. So instead of advancing further, I decided to ride that out while slowly improving my Dragon Core.

I call it the Dragon Core. However, it's more accurate to call it a Monster Core. The only reason I call it differently is because I have the bloodline of a Dragon. So I figured why not call them together. Makes it easier to distinguish between the various races of monster beasts.

Another thing I did during this time was to let the Lightning Monster Beasts I collected roam around the area to cultivate for themselves. Occasionally a cub or two would come over and lay in my lap while I cultivated.

At first I was worried I would have to teach the cubs mother a lesson if it came to try and attack. However, instead of the cubs mothers pouncing. They would curl up beside me and fall into a light nap. Just like their cubs did in my lap.

After this happened a few times It was clear to me that the Monster beasts recognized that not only was I not a threat. I was a friend and could even help them cultivate. It was a pure sight. The Monster Beasts would take turns. They even made up a method to determine how long they got to be next to me and who got to go next.

My Dragon Bead broke through to the 7th Order. It seemed effortless to me. Like the baptism was simply just nurturement for my own physique. In any case now that I broke through it had an effect on the Monster Beasts that hung around me.

Some of the time a Monster Beasts would come trotting back all excited and happy from a hunt. Their prey in tow. These Monster Beasts were smart. Bringing back all of this good stuff for us to eat. They would bring it back and lay it down in front of me. It was an offering from them to me. A sort of wish they had could be quickly changed into reality if brought something good back.

It was my fault for allowing this behavior. But in the long run it really didn't matter. This was a good thing. All I had to do was refine some of the Qi in the environment into monster Qi or Lighting Qi and give it to them in exchange. This ended up being a great way for the once wild beasts that fought each other to change their tune quite quickly. Now they found that if they worked together they could gain far greater benefits. It really was like I domesticated these Monster Beasts.

"Remember, if you find any other Monster Beasts with the Lightning, Wind or both attributes. Then make sure to bring them back home to me. If it's not something you can handle just let this master know and I'll take care of it. I want to see how large this family of ours can get." I smiled a clean happy smile full of appreciation. However, behind that was the side of me that would never allow the monster beasts to disobey me.

"Heh, you really are good at this aren't you Leiji'er? Taming so many Monster Beasts is not an easy thing for just anyone to do." Fan Qing giggled with Shandain, Their breasts jiggling around in the process.

"I'll take that as a compliment. Now it's time for me to refine this blood essence my father gave me. After that I'll cultivate the Dragon transformation technique."

I have been focused on refining the blood essence my father had given to me. This is some powerful stuff. A single drop pushed my blood line and Monster Bead to form a tight connection. The second drop had formed my very own Dragon Vein. This means that I can now also produce Blood essence though in comparison to my fathers… Mine is quite lacking for the time being.

Another great thing that happened over this time was my foundation's improvement. The change was so drastic that what I had thought was a rock solid foundation was simply a single grain of sand, compared to the rock it is now.

"Hehehe, you're such an interesting Junior. You know very well that in a year you'll think the same thing again." Fang Qing laughed, holding her sides and rolling around in my Knowledge Sea.

"Indeed, this will likely be the case. Though it's impressive that you have already reached the Saint Realm again, Senior is one to look up to." I said, changing the subject.

Fang Qing puffed her chest out boldly and placed her hands on her hips. "Well of course! I was the best back on my home star." She said, confidently. "Though how did I advance beyond your Realm?" She pondered.

"That might have something to do with the size of my Knowledge Sea. So as long as it is considered at the very least one major Realm above Senior's current realm then perhaps it is possible to continue advancing further." I thought.

"Indeed, this might be the case. After being here for 6 months Junior's Knowledge Sea has grown considerably stronger. You could be considered comparable to a peak 2nd order of the origin returning realm now. That is if we take your Knowledge Sea's cultivation alone." Fang Qing said, praising me.

I chuckled a little before returning to my own cultivation. I still had quite a vast number of things to take care of. And I have a vast array of distractions in the process. So my growth could be said to be hindered. However, I don't see it this way. There are a vast number of reasons I think this way. It's just unfortunate that the situation doesn't make it easy to verify the thoughts I have. Only time will tell. Funnily enough I need to continue focusing on those powerful Daos as well. I wonder how strong my Dragon Chain Lightning skill will become once I master the use of my Daos along with it.
