Tribulation?

"If I had to guess it has something to do with how he was conceived. It wasn't through regular means. But rather out of a strand of my own will that interpreted something in a different way from usual. Perhaps that is the reason I always felt a little uneasy whenever he would grow stronger. He can even freely use a small portion of my Small Universe World Force. And I suspect he has been able to do it for a while." Yang Kai muttered through a brief moment of difficulty and sweat.

"I see, that might be enough to cause some problems. It makes sense. Since he is essentially a small portion of the Worlds will… whenever he breaks through it will cause some struggle on the world itself. Interesting. This is something that we should avoid in the future. It might even be considered Taboo. However, I doubt that it matters if it happened by accident. Though like all things Taboo in nature, there will be struggles regardless of whether it is self-inflicted or not. So I don't recommend doing that again. Even by accident. I'll send word to the others as well." Army Commander Zhong Liang said, while stroking his beard deep in thought. And standing on the bow of his ship. Looking out at the cultivators breaking through.

"No complaints here. This time it felt horrible. If it had gone on much longer it could have forced me to experience something similar to severing my own foundation." Yang Kai said, immediately agreeing with the Army Commander in a rare moment of common understanding.

"Ahahaha, if that's how horrible it felt I doubt anyone would try it out willfully. That is a pain indescribably horrid by comparison to anything else. That is to say nothing else quite covers it." Army Commander Zhong Liang chuckled. "It seemed to be fortunate to have been assigned this task. To think your son is already becoming an Emperor. He isn't even 40 years old let alone 100. I think the record was 87 years old to reach the Emperor Realm… And he just blew it out of the water. I guess those with the potential to reach the 8th Rank directly really are just a different breed altogether then…" He added with a tone that betrayed him by putting his interest on display.

"Martial Uncle can't take Little Leiji as your disciple, end of story. He has his own path and own reasons for why he does the things he does. I'm sure he would refuse even the Old Ancestor's invitation if it meant throwing away his own path." Feng Ying said, clearly seeing the intent behind Zhong Liang's words. She understands me quite well.

"Achem… apologies. I let that slip again. It's just that young Leiji is quite the talented one. At such a young age to reach the Emperor realm. And what's more, it's with such a mighty Dao. He will certainly be a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield." Army Commander Zhong Liang said, making an excuse for himself.

"So long as Martial Uncle Understands then it is fine. So let's wait and see what happens." Feng Ying said, with a glance before taking a quick look at Yang Kai, and then looked at Huo Lei and Xiu Che. "So Little Leiji has a woman for each arm now. I guess it's no mistake that he is Yang Kai's Son." She commented. "And beautiful women at that. Good! Treat him well. He… will need the tender touch of loving wives in the future. Of that I am certain." Feng Ying said plainly.

"Mother-in-law doesn't need to worry about that. Us wives will care for him just as much as he cares for us. We love him beyond what words can convey." Huo Lei smiled and beat the air with her tails.

"Big sister is right, Mother-in-Law, You needn't worry about this. My sister Huo Lei and I love Husband so much that words can not describe it. We are connected on a level simply beyond words. There is no way another man could do." Xiu Che said with a big and beautifully bright smile.

"Besides, I doubt just any man could make us wives feel that good. Husband, he is… quite special in many regards. But when it comes to the duties of a Husband… He makes good on those duties and delivers a large amount of love." Huo Lei said excitedly.

"Good! I'll have to hear a little more about this another time. I wonder if the Son has surpassed the father." Bai Yi chimed in, with a bit of interest.

The Void was tumultuous and chaotic. The many people breaking through at this time caused a few issues but they were quickly resolved as they successfully broke through one after the other. And at the end of it only I remained. The problem being my Tribulation hadn't begun yet. And for some reason I looked like I was in an incredible amount of agony.

"What's wrong over there? Is it a false alarm?" Yang Kai asked, through a voice whisper to me.

"I hate to make everyone wait, but I felt like my breakthrough might have caused the others to struggle or even fail. So I've been doing what I could to hold it back. Which is considerably more difficult outside of Father's small universe." I said through another message directed to him.

"Oh, Yang Kai, I think this was meant for you. And if that's the case we are about to witness something fierce." Shen Ao said, relaying the message.

"Hmm… he was able to distort my solidified cultivation. So I wager that's a valid concern." Yang Kai mentioned. "You're in the clear. Go ahead and begin. No one else is breaking through in the area." Yang Kai said through another voice transmission.

Hearing what my father Yang Kai just said, I relaxed and let the Tribulation begin with utmost force. The Void…

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS! I'm glad I finished before… He was definitely holding it back until now." A new 6th rank sighed on a ship in the void.
