Battle Preparations

"Father? I… if you think that is for the best I will not contest. And I think I have an idea as to what you are talking about. If I got access to that thing, and the twins… I might have an infinitely easier time growing. Especially around that source you speak of… Very well then. I will return first and give news that you are alright. Perhaps you should write Mothers a letter? I'm certain they would be grateful for that." I said, stretching as if I was warming up for something big.

"I will also try and explain the situation as best I can through a letter. I wonder how you'll fare though? Meeting your mothers, how are you going to explain this to your wives?" Yang Kai, chuckled nervously.

"I don't think those two daughter-in-laws of ours are under the impression that simply meeting the mothers would be enough. In fact I'm positive of that fact. I've been guiding Xiu Che's progress. And she has stated multiple times that she knows that Leiji must wait till he has his own adult siblings." Feng Ying explained chiming in.

"And I've been guiding Huo Lei's progress as well. She was quite excited at the prospect of returning to potentially seeing her mother in laws. But even then, she still understands the situation clearly. She may have been forceful before but now she is calmer and understands the stakes of the situation." Bai Yi confirmed as well.

"Since that is solved. And I have fully recovered from that refinement now. I think it is time I push my limits a bit more." I said stretching above with interlocked fingers and palms up. "Let's see just how much larger I can make this now." I said, bringing my hands down and smirking.

The Lightning Sphere rotated faster and faster. Creating a more powerful suction effect on the Ink Force. After a few breaths of calculating the extent of which I could push my strength. I sent a surge of dao strength, increasing the size of the Lightning Sphere to several times the size it was previously.

"Leiji, this is much larger than the one you were using earlier. What changed to make it this big now?" Bai Yi asked, opting for me to explain than for her to investigate for herself.

"Simple, before I was not back to myself. Refining these 'Thunder Shock Surprises' was no easy chore. In fact had I not been a 2nd Order. I would have been incapable of handling it.  But I knew it wouldn't take too long to recover if I flew around a bit in the Ink Cloud. So I wasn't worried. And now the distance I can cover is 5000 Zhang in all directions from the center." I explained, cracking my neck. "Ah, now that is a lot more energy flowing in. Absolutely amazing. Oh! The Low Rank Ink Clan shouldn't be able to resolve the situation inside this Lightning Sphere." I added.

"What does Martial Nephew mean? Are you saying what I think you are?" Shen Ao asked.

"Hehe, I mean what I say. Barring any freakishly strong Low Ranks. I can kill them all with this strength. I could make the area bigger but it would inherently grow weaker. This should be a good sweet spot." I said with a satisfied chuckle.

"Good! We should test it out then. There are usually groups of Ink Clan roaming the perimeter of their domain. Why not test it there?" Shen Ao thought. "What does the Team Leader think?" He questioned, looking at Yang Kai.

"With new abilities comes the need to test them in the field. A low threat area is perfect to work out the kinks. If there are any high ranks and you have yet to gain battlefield experience you will be tasked with fighting this time. I highly doubt the Ink Force will affect you. And you can also try testing out the tokens I have spoken of before. Leiji, hand everyone a token." Yang Kai said.

"Right away father!" I said, pulling out the tokens. I then sent one to everyone's hands save for Bai Yi and Feng Ying, since they already have some. "Everyone, be careful with those. I may be weak compared to you. But those tokens when used will cause a synergistic effect. In the worst case your attacks will not lose force from the Ink Force's Corruption. In the best case… You will unleash an attack that could potentially severely injure Ink Clan even a rank above you. Though that might be the case it would be for the best if you don't go and take any crazy risks like that until you feel comfortable with the token." I explained.

"Ahahaha! Martial Nephew shouldn't have said as much. Now I want to go and kill a Territory Lord myself. Such a great thing should be tested." Shen Ao laughed.

"I said as much because it would only take you one use to find out that it might be possible. And if I didn't give you the warning ahead of time who knows what you would have done. But if you do try to fight a Territory lord… hmmm… don't go seeking it. And don't fight it alone. It wouldn't do well for you to go and make a mistake, getting yourself killed in the process. After all, the Ink Clan is more numerous than you realize." I said.

"Oh? I was forced to live among them. Is there something more than that?" Shen Ao asked.

"Indeed, Allow me to share with you the memory of the Grand Sky World. A gift or rather a burden I was bestowed with." I said, using the world's memories as a convenient excuse.

"That's right you did get all that information back then. If anyone knows the condition of the Ink Clan better than even themselves it would be you. Most of our records are indecipherable. So go ahead and say it." Ding Yao said.

"I'm afraid I can't. This information would lead to the destruction of the Human Race if it were to get out. I don't even dare tell my father about it in the event some freak accident occurs. But I can say that the Ink Clan is… significantly weaker now than what they have in reserve. It is why I want to test out as many ways to grow my Human Races Strength and the faster the better." I explained.
