Battle Preparations (2)

"I see, if what you say is correct then you should tell the Old Ancestor as well. After all, they can't be converted. And their only match is the Royal Lord. It should be safe to tell them right? Or is it still too dangerous?" Ding Yao said, preparing for the situation to be dropped.

"I don't see a problem with telling the Old Ancestor. Though I won't say everything unless the Old Ancestor is in perfect condition. Some of the news could shake his core." I said, warning about it.

"Suddenly I learned what it is you're using that pure World Force for. Very well, And I am also quite curious to see how these tokens work. So let's go ahead and take the advantage. What do you say?" Ding Yao asked.

"Activate the battle array's! 6th ranks get ready. You're about to get some real combat experience. 5th ranks, maintain the attacking arrays. I want a rotation running seamlessly. If you And I want 5 of you ready to activate the defensive formation whenever needed. Let's use this small battle to practice working with the new additions. My brothers and sisters of the 7th rank, remain vigilant and act appropriately. Lend support timely and mindfully. I don't want any severe injuries this time." Yang Kai said, relaying the orders.

"Team Leader has given the order! Begin preparations at once!" Feng Ying said, echoing the order as a vice-team leader should.

"Senior Ding Yao, If you would stay and watch the situation and act when needed I would be grateful." Yang Kai said.

"No worries, I'll even give some pointers. It's nice to be out of that pass once in a while. I owe your son… for getting the chance to get out. So I'll of course do whatever is required of me. By the way, what is it that he is doing? It looks like he is getting ready to fight himself." Ding Yao asked.

"He is quite capable. I think he will be fine. But… Leiji! What are you doing now?" Yang Kai asked, just to satisfy Ding Yao's curiosity.

"Oh. I plan on taking down some of the High rank Ink Clan personally. I may be quite skilled when it comes to thunder & Lightning. But that doesn't give me an excuse to ignore my Spear nor my Hammer." I said with a big grin as my hammer and spear twirled under near perfect control.

"Hmm… Very good! Then once everything is ready. Let's begin tearing this domain apart." Ding Yao chuckled, at the seriousness on my face.

A few moments later everyone had finished preparations. Bai Yi was prepared to shoot down any Ink Clan that dared get too close. "Don't worry Leiji, mother here is going to make sure you don't get forced into a bad spot." She said with a confident giggle.

The other 7th Ranks each had a sector outside the ship to deal with. Feng Ying was in charge of dealing with anything that managed to get by everyone else. So she could react to any rogue attackers that would somehow manage to get by the others. "Don't worry your little heart. Mother will strike them down in one swift slice. I won't let anyone hurt you, Leiji, on my watch." She said, confidently competing with Bai Yi.

"Since everyone has settled into their positions. We are going to head into the first battle. We aren't close enough for there to be a feudal lord this time around. But I will respond immediately to the sector that gets overwhelmed. That said, try not to get overwhelmed if possible." Yang Kai said, remembering how his team likes to fight.

"Team Leader should trust us more. We won't get overrun without the presence of a feudal lord." Shen Ao retorted half heartedly.

"No, this time it is different. We need to not only protect the ship. But also learn more about the tokens that young Leiji has given us. On top of that we need to make sure that our juniors are not overrun with High Rank Ink Clan. So we will be quite busy learning the balance of all of that." Qi Tai Chu stroked his beard, pointing out the differences.

"I know, I know. I'm just saying we can handle it. There is nothing to worry about. If things get bad we can always return to the Pass." Shen Ao said.

"No! We are not going to retreat or take unnecessary risks nor breaks. Our goal is to topple this entire Territory Lords Domain. And that is just what we will do. I for one need to find some more materials for my own cultivation advancement. I need several high ranking materials, after all. And I would find it hard to believe that the Territory Lord here wouldn't have at least a few." I said, with a glare. "Besides that, how do you think the Ink Force is likely to react when an entire Territory Lords domain was taken down, not by a Garrison Chief. Nor a Garrison. But only by a single team. This mission was never about success nor failure. It was meant to strike the Ink Clan where it hurts them the most…" I continued.

"Oh? And where is that exactly?" Ding Yao asked, knowing the answer. But he was surprised I picked up on the answer.

"Their cowardly hearts." I said, with a cold and confident quickness. "The evil existences don't deserve to live in comfort. And were going to save the Ink Disciples that they still have. I'm sure they are just as angry with the Ink Clan as the next person. Lets let them get their revenge and put the ones we can no longer save, out of their miserable nightmares. Sending them back into the cycle of reincarnation. Everyone who has been inked should be given the chance to reap their vengeance upon the Ink Clan." I further explained. "Oh now I have another excellent Idea to use when I go back to fathers home… hehehe." I chuckled.

"Then into battle we go! Let's give them a hell of an attack. Move out!" Yang Kai ordered, and the ship hurdled towards a group of around 500 Ink Clan.
