Supreme Elders In Shock (4)

With an awkward look on his face it was difficult to tell what it was from, be it confusion or just pure idiocy, I had no idea. But the look was quite amusing so I chuckled to myself a little bit. But Mo Sha… His face remained ever so stunned by my question.

"That's… That shouldn't be possible… Should it?" Mo Sha managed to stammer out. "That's just not something that should be allowed… Not our rules but the Heavenly way's rules. Just how did you manage it?" He continued, asking further.

I simply raised my finger and pointed towards the Supreme Elder I had given a lightning ball to earlier. "Ask him, if his cultivation wasn't wasted effort, he should understand why I am able to meddle in such affairs, if only a little bit." I explained. "As for the other reason. Well, you can see it plain as day right here. This pill has the ability to rapidly speed up the growth of a species. And by doing so, it rushes along building up history, or strength." I explained. "Though, it's not like it's enough I can get away with taking a whole world's populace. And there are other things I am unable to mitigate. Like I can't force people to migrate against their will. Though, I doubt I would do that even if I did have such power." I chuckled.

The Supreme Elder I pointed to still had the ball of lightning in his hand, he had been diligently probing it for information and study. I was rather hopeful that he would understand something. Will he disappoint me?

"Yang boy, sorry, but I have a question about this… Would you mind answering it before I elaborate on the potential this might have?" The Supreme Elder asked, half timidly. His face clearly filled an intense desire to know so I nodded. "This Lightning, if broken down, would form Yin & Yang Daos, am I correct in this assumption?" He asked.

"AHAHAHAHA! Good, you're correct. That is indeed the case. My lightning is that type. One of the heavens themselves. Or in other words… You could call it Chaos." I laughed, elaborating slightly as I spoke. "If this wasn't the case, there is no way I'd be able to grind the Ink Clan into dust while only being a Great Emperor. Such a feat would be… Quite impossible. However, Chaos reigns supreme against any and all other Daos. Absolutely nothing can be its equal. That being said, I'm still quite weak by comparison to a 9th rank." I continued.

The Supreme Elder who held the ball smiled and bowed slightly, a rare moment when someone so far up the chain has to show his respect. "I had my suspicions but, it truly is Lightning of Chaos. Then it makes sense why you can manipulate the laws of the heavens to some extent." He said, standing up right again.

"What do you mean Senior Brother?" Another Supreme Elder asked.

"If I may, might I try and explain it?" Luo Ting He asked, I nodded. "Alright, so similarly to how we control the very makeup of our Small Universe. As our Dao is the very base it is built upon… Chaos being the strongest out there and the birth of all things regardless of their origin. When interacting with other Universe Worlds, it should be like a parent interacting with a child. The parent can say what to do but the child doesn't always listen." She explained.

"Hmm, that's not off but you're missing a key point." I said, confirming the similarity. "The younger a child is, the better the relationship between them and the parent. As they are closer and untainted by the struggles of the world. Using this I can in effect parent, these low powered Universe Worlds. Raising them up into mighty adults. And some point in the future I should be able to create new worlds with extremely little effort on my part." I explained.

"Such a versatile power. You'd be a horrible enemy to have." A Supreme Elder sighed, looking up to the sky to see the barrier again.

"Well, I don't doubt that, but it is precisely because of my strengths that I am able to deal with the Ink Clan so effectively. And also why if Ink, the creator of the Ink Clan, comes to fight. Only I have a hope of stopping him. There is another who might reach a point where it is possible. But that won't be for quite a long time. And they will need a lot of help to reach that height." I said. "Besides, so long as one doesn't turn on the human race, or my High Heaven Palace, then they need not worry about me becoming an enemy. Rather they will enjoy the fruits of an ally and the benefits of a friend." I continued to try and put them at ease.

"Huh, I see. In that case. I look forward to seeing the day the Ink Clan is eradicated." The very same Supreme Elder smiled as he looked back down from the sky. "I'm curious about this Ink character you speak of. But before that, let us see this array. If it is as good as you say and as we think, then your requests might be due for consideration." He continued, stroking his beard with interested eyes.

"I'll explain about the Ink guy at a later time anyways. Once I am assured of future siblings we will have a nice long discussion about it." I said. "For now, follow me." I said, opening up a corridor into seemingly nowhere directly in the air and I walked in.

"Huh? Is this… This is the inside of the array!" One of the three array masters exclaimed in surprise.

"Yang boy! This is simply amazing. You thought to weave the array from both sides, the world and from the reverse. No wonder it's so freakishly stable and efficient." Another of the three shouted, running around inside the space.

"Indeed, I set out to make it so efficient that the energy a single life generates is enough to fuel this array for decades. And anyone who has a brain should know why that's important." I chuckled, seeing these two old fogies running around like children in the snack section of the marketplace.
