Chapter 36 Annoying Charlie and AJ

“Hi Charlie,” I said when he drew closer. Not only was Charlie Prince the most annoying person I knew, he was also the loudest.

“I’m so sorry I couldn’t make it to the funeral,” he began, while eyeing my body like the pervert he was. I was dressed in a free dress but he wore a satisfied smile after leering at my body. “I was so caught in my job.”

The only nice thing about Charlie was probably his looks and the muscles he had developed from his job as a lumberjack.

“It’s alright. I’m in a hurry right now so I think we can talk some other time.”

“How rude,” he said, frowning. “I have seen you just ambling around. Besides, I can walk you home. As a strong man, I can protect you.”

I nearly rolled my eyes. I knew it was going to be impossible to get rid of him so I accepted his offer. “Okay. Let’s go.”

“How’s New York?” he asked.

“It’s great. I love it there.”

“And Ronnie Trump?”

“What about him?”

“He’s in New York.”
