Natalie goes to surprise her mate on his birthday, only to be surprised herself. She finds him cheating on her with her best friend, Tina. What’s more? Trevor realizes that she has left and rejected him. Angered, he accepts the rejection and proceeds to announce his mistress as his chosen luna. However, his wolf doesn’t cooperate. He tries to force him to mark his lover as his luna, which results in landing him in the infirmary. Even after being released from the infirmary, his wolf doesn’t show up and soon the elders see him unfit to lead a werewolf pack. Soon he is denounced from the position. He watched painfully as his beta is appointed as the new alpha. He thinks that Tina would help, however, gets the shock of his life when he realises that Tina and his Beta Alan are mates. They ridicule him and says that he may stay in the pack even though they planned to kill him before. However, fearing that they might kill him off, he escapes to the human city. 
He badly misses Natalie and regrets his actions. His wolf never returned and hence he succumbs to depression.

She was stunning! Gorgeous and elegant. Just like a demi-goddess. Adolphus snickered when I forced myself out of a reverie. Ignoring him, I led her towards the elevators. An awkward silence filled the atmosphere, yet I didn't know what to say. Would it be bizarre if I say that she took my breath away?


It was her who broke the silence. She wanted to go for a run. Before I could respond, a human entered the lift and as soon as he saw Natalie, he started to ogle her. I didn't like the way he gawked at her body. Holding back my urge to grimace, I stood in front of her so that the stranger wouldn't see her.


She seemed to understand what I did. Flashing the most beautiful smile I had seen, she looked into my eyes.
