Natalie goes to surprise her mate on his birthday, only to be surprised herself. She finds him cheating on her with her best friend, Tina. What’s more? Trevor realizes that she has left and rejected him. Angered, he accepts the rejection and proceeds to announce his mistress as his chosen luna. However, his wolf doesn’t cooperate. He tries to force him to mark his lover as his luna, which results in landing him in the infirmary. Even after being released from the infirmary, his wolf doesn’t show up and soon the elders see him unfit to lead a werewolf pack. Soon he is denounced from the position. He watched painfully as his beta is appointed as the new alpha. He thinks that Tina would help, however, gets the shock of his life when he realises that Tina and his Beta Alan are mates. They ridicule him and says that he may stay in the pack even though they planned to kill him before. However, fearing that they might kill him off, he escapes to the human city. 
He badly misses Natalie and regrets his actions. His wolf never returned and hence he succumbs to depression. 
What would happen if they run into each other? Would Trevor finally find the courage and strength to face her and apologize? Would his wolf wake up again? To say that I was furious would be an understatement. I was shaking in rage and Adolphus was about to lose control. Natalie managed to calm us down at the right moment. If not, I would have lost control to my agitated wolf and he most probably would bring the entire building down.


"What?" I heard Trevor gasp. He must have been shocked by what he witnessed.


The authority Natalie's voice demanded made my heart swell with pride. Adolphus calmed down. Our bond made me feel a million times better. Trevor's allegations meant nothing to me. She was mine and she was nothing close to a whore.


When I glanced at him, I was still infuriated, yet I had full control over my wolf.


I could clearly see how confused and shocked Trevor was. He seemed to have managed to breathe easier after I choked him.


"Doesn't he know who we are?" I heard Adolphus grumble in my head.
