Happy

*Di-Hee's POV*

Sun shone brightly as I opened my eyes to adjust to the sudden brightness of the room because of the open curtain.

I covered my eyes with my hands in front of them. I tried to turn around but felt a little tug through the arm on my waist, stopping me from turning.

Despite feeling tired, I covered my face with my hands and fell asleep again. I vaguely sensed some movement while in a drowsy state but was too lethargic, to fully register it.

After some time, maybe half an hour or so, I woke up again. But this time, not from the sunlight but from something disturbing my comfort. I groggily opened my eyes and found Guk-Du sleeping on my side of the bed, on his stomach and sleeping soundly, keeping his head on my chest.

His hands secured their place near my head and from around my waist towards my collarbones. One of my hands lay on top of his, near my head and one on his nape. Not wanting to move from that position, I lay there in silence.

My thoughts automatically went to our first night of sinful pleasure. His personality, surely, was different from his usual one. He shifted in his sleep a little, and I felt my body stiffen. He took a long breath while mine was struck in my throat. His right hand, which was on my collarbone, sild downwards, dangerously down in slow motion.

I let my incisive thoughts win and moved a little, acting like I was asleep doing that. His hand stopped almost immediately, and it was sure that he was awake now.

I opened my eyes again in a slower motion and yawned naturally. I looked at him, staring at me as I tried to keep it all looking normal. I smiled, and he reciprocated.

I felt a soft tingle on the calf of my left leg as his slightly rough fingers lingered upwards. None of us dropped our smile or eye contact. He took the opportunity sild his figures further upwards. And my breath hitched as he proceeded towards my inner thighs.

And I could feel his fingers poking me slightly through the fabric of the shorts I was wearing, and my smile fell. But he still kept smiling as if mocking me.

"So early in the morning? Isn't it a bit too much? At least let eomma leave for work." I started, but he still kept smiling, and I had a bit of an idea of what he was about to say.

"It's already past ten in the morning. She was gone at seven itself." He replied, and just as I thought, he had several excuses to dismiss my questions.

"Then we should be spending time together. Like knowing about each other, no?" I tried to excuse it because the last time we did it, it was a hell of a ride.

"So, you're saying we don't know each other well enough to discuss it." He growled in a low voice, retreating his hand. But I could feel his body betraying him.

"But you know there is something which we may not know. There is always something, no?" I spoke, and he lifted himself to put his weight on his arms. He looked directly into my eyes with a strange mix of emotions. Disappointed, angry and something I couldn't tell.

"Just say no if you don't want to do it." His annoyance only increased. He bit his lower lip and tried to move out of bed when his thing accidentally hit my core area, and our eyes widened while our bodies stiffened.

Sudden heat travelled up my body, and an urge to touch him sinfully surfaced. His eyes darted from over my eyes to lips and back while I fisted my hands on my side, gripping the blanket.

My eyes on their own, went to his lips, and we looked into each other's eyes. He lowered himself a bit, and my body on its own accord, moved to kiss him. I grabbed the back of his neck and pulled myself up, and he also let go of his control.

His erect poked me with every movement, making the environment even more hard to control.

I sat on the couch, glueing my eyes to the screen of the TV, watching drama. Guk-Du made food in the kitchen.

After our session, we were just too embarrassed to even look at each other in the eyes. Especially, doing it after that awkward conversation.

Switching off the television, I went to the terrace to get some fresh air. But, somewhere I knew that he would also come sooner or later. I sat on the basket swing and picked up one of the books kept there, most were written by eomma.

There some birds were flying in the sky, forming an arrow pattern, and I leaned backwards as the scene never left a chance to mesmerise me.

Not finding anything interesting to do, I went towards the railing and leaned over to get a better view of what was happening down in the street. Some people hurry to open their shops while some stroll while talking to someone dear to them.

I felt a presence behind me, and as I turned around, Guk-Du circled his arms around my waist, keeping me in place. I kept my hands on his shoulders to balance myself, but soon the realization hit me that we were in the open.

I quickly turned my head to the side, and there sat a granny knitting something and flashing a smile towards us. Stopping her work, she did a thumbs up, and I could feel a blush creep over my cheeks.

"Guk-Du, let go. We are in the open. Look at that granny weirdly smiling at us." I spoke in haste, looking into his eyes, but he didn't budget.

"Can't a married couple romance in the open?" He asked, forwarding his head closer.

"It's inappropriate. Especially, when an elderly person is seeing you." I hissed as he deliberately pinched the side of my waist.

He turned his face in the direction I told him through the sign. And, as soon as the granny smiled at him also, he left me, and I hurriedly went inside, and soon after, he followed.

"I told you," I said, heat still creeping on my cheeks as I kept my head on the wall, backwards. He kept his head on my shoulder and breathed, "It was a bit embarrassing to see her gawking at us."

"You... Nevermind." He would not accept his mistake this time, and I know it.

"The food is getting cold." He spoke as he walked towards the kitchen downstairs.

I followed silently, but my phone rang inside the pocket of my pants. I looked at the username, and it was Mr Han, my senior.

"I'll take this call," I spoke, and he nodded silently.

Going to the room, I picked up the incoming call, and without greeting or something, he said in a panicked voice, "Come to the office this instant. This is an important matter."

"WH-" I tried to question, but he cut the call. I looked at the screen, puzzled. Quickly following his instructions, I got ready and went downstairs.

"I have to go to the office. Something urgent came up," I told Guk-Du, and he remained calm.

"What is the name of the person who called you?" He asked in a relaxed voice.

"Han Du-Seo. Why?" I was confused, but maybe there's a reason.

"Nothing." He smiled and continued, "You don't wanna get late, do you?"

And I hurriedly went to the car and drove to the office.
