a story about a power hungry half human half demon boy who was estranged by his childhood friend, best friend and step sister. 


Kaneki Higanbana was estranged by 3 girls when they got into high school because they fall for a guy name Ryueki itadori.


one day he accidentally met Ryueki itadori's childhood friend and crush Natsuki Mizutani who has the ability to see the "color" of a persons soul


they soon became friends and as soon they became friends Kaneki told her about him being estranged which made Natsuki mad.


though he kept their names a secret.
and so Natsuki is doing her best to make him happy.


and so their secret friendship had started.


and at the same time, the same girls Shino Tanaka (childhood friend), Yuuka Mirai (best friend) and Miku Higanbana/Tachibana(step sister) who felt so much guilt after realizing they've hurt Kaneki so bad.


are trying to fix their relationship with him.

Natsuki-chan likes the power hungry Kaneki

after asking how long he was training Kaneki said "since my mom died"


Kaneki: it's alright... You know Tanaka-san i... actually feel pain when i transform just like earlier.


Shino: what do you mean by.. you feel pain?


Kaneki: I am an artificial ability user.


Kaneki: yeah just not like the ones made in hell during the war in hell 6 years ago.


Kaneki: i wasn't born with abilities I was fine with that at first but since my mom died i had to train myself very very hard.


Shino: (he's been near death multiple times?!) what type of training do you do?


Kaneki: should I even say it? i doubt you'd believe me and might call me a chuunibyou.


Kaneki: okay there's no need to yell seriously. well anyways. the type of training I do varies from doing certain tasks to fighting creatures like a dragon.


"seriously why is my body not listening to me?! i shouldn't say this information to her!"


Kaneki didn't know why he started telling Shino his secrets.


Kaneki: these trainings can be drowning myself, burning myself, getting stabbed, and getting my organs removed.


Shino: (organs removed?! how are you alive?!) I can't believe it! how are you even alive?! 


Kaneki: you saw him yesterday right? Querxes Sensei? after I left you saw him right?


Shino looking back at that day, she  remembered the man that Kaneki fought and almost brought out his Demonic powers.


Kaneki: that was my first Sensei Querxes Preston he is very strong he beat me up so much when i first started training.


Kaneki: don't worry it's not his fault I forced him to train me.


Kaneki: Yeah when I asked him to train me combat without holding back I kept ambushing him and gave him hell.


"so that's what you've been doing when i wasn't able to see you back then"


Kaneki: at some point of my training he beat me up so bad I was near death, i would be lying i said he was ruthless.


Kaneki: yes, but after he beaten me up, my body started fixing itself and i acquired my first ability: Regeneration.


Shino: (Regeneration? is that how he's still alive?) I see you kept training and got more and more abilities, must be painful huh?


Kaneki: yeah but I didn't mind even though my reason is to bring back my mom because of my promise to her.


Shino: (he really is a man of his words and he still wants to keep his promise with his mom... i wish i could be like him) I see so that's your reason for wanting power.


thought she finally understood why Kaneki wanted power.


Kaneki: Not really it's not my only reason.


"no stop! you're just a stranger in her eyes if you say THAT she'll think you want her! and she'll hate you!"


Kaneki: my other reason is my 4 girl friends. i don't remember most of their names but I do remember their nickname.


Shino: Girlfriends?! (wait did he think of us as his Girlfriends!?)


Kaneki: well they are: Sachi Saki my childhood friend, Miyu-chan my best friend, Miha-chan the one i consider a sister and Shita-chan my other childhood friend who i sometimes think of as a mother.
