What's our next move?

Hiro's heart was pounding in his chest as he waited for the guard's response. He could feel the sweat trickling down his back, his hands trembling with adrenaline as he kept his laser gun trained on the guard.

As the guard emerged from behind the crates, his hands held high, Hiro breathed a sigh of relief. But then, in a split second, everything changed.

Without warning, the guard pulled out his own gun and fired a shot at Hiro. Reacting quickly, Hiro dodged the laser beam and returned fire, the shot ringing out through the corridor.

Amy screamed in terror as she watched the scene unfold. In the chaos, she tried to make a run for it, but as she fled, a stray laser beam hit her arm, searing through the flesh and leaving a smoking wound.

Finn, who hadn't noticed anyone else other than the person shooting at him, recognized Amy and hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. That's his boss he had just shot. It was a fatal mistake. In that moment of hesitation, Hiro landed a shot on his arm, sending his gun flying from his grasp.

But Hiro wasn't done yet. With lightning-fast reflexes, he fired another shot, this time aimed at Finn's leg. The guard crumpled to the ground, writhing in pain as Hiro stood over him, his gun still trained on his target.

For a moment, there was silence, broken only by Amy's ragged breathing as she clutched her injured arm. Hiro's heart was pounding in his chest as he looked around, his eyes scanning the area for any other threats.

Slowly, he approached Finn, his gun still trained on him as he assessed the situation. It had been a close call.

For a while, it seemed as though the danger had passed, and Hiro cautiously lowered his gun. He turned to check on Amy, who was whimpering softly, her injured arm held tight to her chest.

But just as Hiro was about to move to her side, a sudden movement caught his eye. Finn, the guard he had just taken down, was struggling to get back on his feet, a fierce determination in his eyes.

Before Hiro could react, Finn lunged at him, his hands outstretched. Instinctively, Hiro raised his gun, but it was too late. Finn tackled him to the ground, his weight crushing Hiro's chest as he grappled for the weapon.

Hiro felt a surge of triumph as he grappled with Finn, overpowering him with ease. But just as he was about to deliver the finishing blow, he felt a sudden, sharp pain in his side. He gasped, his grip on Finn's arm loosening for just a moment, and in that moment, Finn twisted free.

Amy stood there, a laser gun in her hand, and Hiro couldn't believe his eyes. "Amy, what are you doing?" he shouted.

Before Hiro could react, she slammed the weapon into his side, sending him reeling. Finn seized the opportunity, and with a fierce snarl, he landed a powerful blow to Hiro's jaw, sending him sprawling to the ground.

Hiro groaned in pain, his head swimming as he struggled to regain his bearings. But by the time he looked up, Finn and Amy were already making their escape, their silhouettes disappearing into the shadows.

Fury burned in Hiro's chest as he struggled to his feet, Suki's voice ringing in his ears through the comm device.

"They're getting away."

Hiro's heart raced as he stormed through the corridors, his face a portrait of rage and desperation. He gritted his teeth, feeling the cold sweat dripping down his back. The sound of his pounding footsteps echoed through the dimly lit halls, adding to the tense atmosphere.

He cursed under his breath, his voice a low growl that reverberated through the empty spaces around him. His fists were balled up so tightly that his knuckles turned white, his nails digging into his skin.

Hiro knew that time was running out. He had to catch up to them before they caused any harm. His mind raced with the possibilities of what they could be planning, and his chest tightened with the thought of the consequences if he failed.

But then, a glimmer of hope flickered in his mind. He remembered the Master Access Card that he had gotten from Amy, and he knew that was all he needed. With a determined look on his face, he changed direction and headed straight for the control room.

As he entered the room, his eyes met Suki's, who stood up to greet him. Her warm smile was a welcome relief from the tension that had been building up inside him.

"Hey," Suki said softly, concern etched on her face. "Are you alright?"

Hiro took a deep breath, his chest heaving with the effort to calm down. His frustration was evident in his face, and he could feel his blood boiling with anger.

"Damn it!" he shouted, his voice echoing off the walls. He slammed his fist against the wall, the impact ringing out like a gunshot. "I should have seen this coming."

Suki approached him cautiously, her eyes filled with understanding. She placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, trying to soothe his anger.

"Calm down, you couldn't have known," she said softly, her voice like a soothing balm to his frazzled nerves.

Hiro took a moment to compose himself, taking a deep breath and running his hands through his hair.

Suki put a hand on his shoulder, offering him some comfort. "We'll figure this out," she said. "We'll find a way to stop them."

Hiro nodded, feeling a bit calmer now. "You're right," he said. "We need to focus on the task at hand. We need to make sure they don't get away."

Suki nodded in agreement. "What's our next move?" she asked.

Hiro paused for a moment, thinking. "We need to track them down," he said finally. "We need to find out where they're going, and stop them before they can cause any more damage."

Suki nodded again. "Okay," she said. "Let's get to work."

The two of them worked quickly and efficiently, scanning security footage and tracking signals. They soon discovered that Finn and Amy had hidden themselves somewhere in the medical bay.

"We need to stop them," Hiro said, his jaw set. "Their next move will be how to make contact in order to bring in reinforcement."

Suki nodded, her eyes shining with determination. "I'll scramble all the digital signals," she said, running her hand through the console.
