Final Decision

After a month of preparation, both civilizations arrived at the decided planet. They were with their own fleets to see that nothing would go wrong.

Emma Dupont, president of Earthling and Limdt Rach, supreme leader of the republic of Rokar finally meet. They did a handshake before talking with each other.

"What would you use during the battle?" asked Limdt.

"This is this." She said while pointing at her.

Looking at her more attentively, he saw that her two arms were into a sort of mechanical gauntlet while there was one more arm coming from each side of her belly which were also mechanical.

She has made a surgical transformation during this month to help her for this battle.

"I see, we can now test it to see if our strength is equivalent." He said while looking at her with replied.

"Yes, we can test it with both our machines so that the results are not distorted."

"I'm okay with it."

"Okay, we will first test it with ours, follow me please."

They all starting walking while she leads all of them.

After arriving in the base, they saw two punching machines with a virtual screen to show the strength of the punch.

The one from the right was from Earthling and the one from the left was from the republic of Rokar.

They walked toward the right one.

"Who would begin?" asked Emma.

"You can show us first." replied Limdt.

"Okay"

She advanced toward her punching machine, prepared herself, take a deep breath and punch with all her strength on it with her right upper arm.

The machine shook, and the virtual score was being calculating, after a second a number appeared on it: 1050 kg.

She broke the world record by more than the double. Then it was the turn of Limdt, he advanced and did the same thing at her.

Another number appeared: 1080 kg.

"It seems that we are pretty much equal." He said while approaching the machine from his civilization.

They did the same with it and the number didn't change.

"Since we are all good, we can go to the arena to begin." Said Jeanne with a serious and worried face, looking at her adoptive mother.

"Don't worry, it will be fine." whispered Emma while she passed in front of her.

After walking for 5 minutes, they arrived at an arena.

The arena was a large circular space surrounded by high walls and filled with various obstacles and traps. There were two gates on opposite sides of the arena, one for each leader.

The rules of the battle were simple: the first one to touch the other's gate would win. The battle would be broadcasted live to all citizens of both civilizations, so everyone could witness the outcome.

Emma and Limdt entered the arena through their respective gates, wearing protective suits and helmets.

They each had a device on their wrist that allowed them to communicate with their teams outside the arena. They also had a small camera attached to their helmets, so the viewers could see their perspectives.

Jeanne and the prime minister of the Rokar race will become the referees of the match.

The countdown began, and when it reached zero, the gates closed behind them. They both ran towards the center of the arena, dodging the obstacles and traps along the way.

They met in the middle, where a large metal platform was suspended above a pit of spikes. They jumped on the platform and faced each other.

"Are you ready?" Emma asked, raising her fists.

"Let's do this." Limdt replied, doing the same.

They exchanged a few punches and kicks, testing each other's strength and speed. They were evenly matched, as they had expected.

They moved around the platform, trying to find an opening or a weakness in their opponent's defense. They both knew that one mistake could cost them the battle.

They fought for several minutes, neither of them gaining an advantage. The viewers watched with bated breath, wondering who would make the first move.

Suddenly, Limdt saw an opportunity. He noticed that Emma was slightly off balance after dodging one of his punches. He quickly used his lower left arm to grab her right leg and pull her down.

He then used his upper left arm to punch her in the face, she tried to dodge it but was too late, she received it and glides on the ground for 5 meters. He took advantages of it and run toward her gate.

Emma quickly regained her senses and ran after him.

She saw him approaching her gate and knew she had to stop him. She detached one of her artificial arms and throw it at him, hoping to slow him down. He turned himself and she closely missed him. He jumped over it and kept running.

Emma cursed and tried to catch up with him. She used her upper right arm to detached her other fake arm and throw it with all of her strength at him, aiming for his back.

The arm flew through the air and hit him in the shoulder, making him stumble and nearly falling down, since it was made of very hard material. He turned around and threw the arm back at her. She dodged it and ran towards him.

They were at a quarter of the platform closer to her gate, both panting and sweating. They resumed their fight, exchanging blows and kicks.

They were both tired and injured, but neither of them was willing to give up. They fought with determination and courage, knowing that the fate of their civilizations depended on them.

They fought for another ten minutes, until they reached a stalemate. They were both too exhausted to continue, but neither of them had touched the other's gate. They stood in front of each other, breathing heavily and staring into each other's eyes.

Suddenly, Emma remembered a strategy that both her deceased friend told her one day.

They used an attack called 'feint throwing' which involved pretending to attack one way and then switching to another with throwing the opponent. She decided to try it on Limdt, hoping that he would fall for it.

She then jumped and tried to punch him in the face. He saw this and decided to dodge her. Suddenly, she changed her position in midair and wrapped her legs around his neck. Then she caught his legs.

She let go of his head and give him a kick on both his legs which made him fall, before he could touch the ground, she caught his right arm, put it on her shoulders and swung him by the shoulders.

He touched the ground with a big sound. She climbed on top of him and give him punches, she didn't stop before he lost consciousness.

She gets up and before falling of fatigue she walks toward Limdt's gate, just after touching it she collapsed on the floor.

After a moment of silence, cheered resonate from the Earthling side, and Jeanne announced their victory with tears rolling down her cheeks.

After both of them get medical treatment, they woke up and Emma walk up to the supreme leader of the republic of Rokar to announce their fate.

She looked at him and said the decision humans to made before coming here if they won.

"From now the republic of Rokar will become a subordinate of Earthling, for the sin of attacking our civilization Limdt Rach as the supreme leader will be executed, all other higher-ups of the Rokar race will be imprisoned!" she yelled with a grave tone.

Limdt knew that he was going to die, but it was a surprise to hear that they didn't decide to eradicate them or make them slaves for Earthling. In the galaxy, it was not rare to see higher civilization level to do that to lower civilization.

He kneeled in front of her.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for your benevolence, at least our race will continue to live normally." he said while sobbing.

"Do you know who will replace you?" she asked.

"Yes, it's my son, Lim Rach, don't worry, he will not think of revenge, certainly not after hearing what you just said."

She looked at a man who resembled greatly him, he looked sad that his dad will be executed, but he also looked relieve after hearing the fate of the republic.

"President of Earthling, I will follow what you decide." he said.

"Good."

After that, the execution of the former supreme leader has begun, during that time, all Rokar's were crying, even some humans cried for him, after all it could be seen that he was a good leader.

If Earthling weren't forced to destroy the civilization which they protected, maybe they could have become allies.

But it's pointless to think that, at least now, they could do it even if they needed time before, since the war has just ended.

After the execution, both civilizations decided to go home. Earthling will go to celebrate the victory of the war, while the republic of Rokar will mourn their former leader.

At this moment, Earthling had become the sole ruler and the overlord of the Orion-Cygnus arm, a minor arm of the Milky Way.
