The New Situation
After landing on the planet, Jeanne, Arthur and Leo were led toward a palace which was where the leader of the Rikos civilization was living.
After entering in it, they saw a group of Rikos waiting for them, there was one who seemed to have more power than the other since he was wearing more luxurious clothes than the others.
Indeed, after arriving in front of them, he came forward and introduced himself.
"I have been informed of your purpose here."
"My name is Zavia Rilar, the leader of the Rikos civilization."
"Hi, I had a question first, do you know the Zivar civilization?" asked Jeanne.
After all, they have been able to communicate with each other because their languages were known in the Zivar chip. It seems that the Zivar controlled at least several galaxies, it confirmed her the theory that they are a level 4 civilization.
"Yes, they give us a way to talk and do business with other civilizations."
"I see." it seemed it was the same civilization as the one in the Milky Way.
"Let's talk about what you can do for us." said Leo.
"Of course, please come." said the leader.
They followed him in a room where there was a long table which were used for important meeting.
After everyone were installed, they started their talk.
"First, we will control the entire Ryus arm, to do that we will have to force the Liam civilization to become our subordinate or be destroyed." Jeanne said.
Zavia was speechless, they were talking about this so casually.
"What can we gain?" he asked.
"First, you will become our closest subordinate in the Andromeda Galaxy. Then, after accomplishing our mission, we will also help you with your technology, you will at least become a level 2 civilizations and become in control of an entire arm of this galaxy." Replied Arthur.
Zavia was tempted by the offer, but he was also wary of the Earthlings' intentions and power. He wondered if they would keep their promise and not enslave or betray him later.
He decided to ask them some questions to test their sincerity and confidence.
"How do you plan to defeat the Liam civilization? They have more ships and weapons than you. Do you have any secret weapon or strategy?" he asked.
Jeanne smiled and nodded. She had anticipated this question and prepared an answer.
"Yes, our civilization is much more advanced than them. With the mere power of our ships, we could simply destroy them without getting any death on our side. We can shoot from the location from one light year away." she explained.
Zavia was amazed and skeptical. He had never heard of such a gap of power. He wondered if it was true or a bluff.
Jeanne hesitated for a moment. She did not want to reveal too much of their technology to him, but she also wanted to convince him of their strength and reliability. She decided to show him a demonstration, but not the actual device.
"Sure, I can show you the result of our power. But I cannot show you the device itself, as it is classified and confidential. You will have to trust me on that." she said.
She took out a small tablet from her pocket and tapped on it. She projected a hologram of the star map on the table. She pointed at a nearby star system.
"See this star system? It is about 1 light year away from here. We have a scout ship there that is equipped with this technology. I will contact them and ask them to shoot this asteroid." she said.
Then a hologram of an asteroid near the Rikos planet appeared.
She pressed a button on her tablet and spoke into it.
"Scout ship Delta-7, this is Major Jeanne Leroy. Do you copy?" she said.
A voice came from the tablet.
"Copy that, General in chief Leroy. This is Scout ship Delta-7. What can we do for you?" the voice said.
"I need you to shoot a target of one light year away from your location, here are the coordinates." she said, sending them the coordinates of the planet they were on.
"Roger that, General in chief Leroy. All the weapons are all ready to shoot." the voice said.
Then, the voice ordered to shoot.
A few seconds later, Zavia saw a bright flash in the sky outside the window. He looked out and saw the asteroid explode out of nowhere. It was the scout ship Delta-7 who has just shoot it.
He gasped in awe and disbelief. He could not believe what he just saw. He looked at Jeanne with admiration and fear.
"That...that was incredible! How did you do that?" he asked.
Jeanne smiled and turned off the tablet.
"That was our secret weapon. The wormhole device. As you can see, it works perfectly. We can use it to travel and shoot anywhere we want in an instant. We can also use it to transport other ships or objects with us. It is a game-changer in space warfare." she said.
She said this, but only the weapon could shoot anywhere without any problem in an area of 10 light years away, other technology which included wormhole was too complicated like the time when they came in this galaxy.
Zavia nodded slowly. He realized that the Earthlings were not lying about their power and technology. They were indeed capable of defeating the Liam civilization and conquering the galaxy.
He decided to accept their offer and cooperate with them.

"Very well, I am convinced. I will join you in your mission and help you as much as I can." he said.
Jeanne nodded and shook his hand.
"Excellent. I am glad we have reached an agreement. Together, we will rule this galaxy." she said.
Leo and Arthur smiled and clapped their hands.
They had just gained a new ally and a new territory in their quest for galactic domination.
"Then, when should we begin?" he asked.
"We would first go and talk with other civilization to become our civilization, and then we will go to the Liam civilization to convinced them." said Leo.
"Doing that, we will become the new hegemony of the Ryus arm" continued Arthur.
After saying this, the meeting ended and a few fleets did go to other important civilization in this area of the galaxy to convinced them to join them.
At first, they didn't want too and even some of them wanted to kill them, but after seeing their power and technology, they finally conceded.
Just like that, a few months passed.
