Return

Jeanne ordered the scientist to construct the WH to return to the Milky Way.

They had to inform the others from their discovery in this place. From the 10 billion battleships they had brought here only 4 billion were remaining after the war with the Shik civilization, they had to resupply their army in numbers.

Jeanne decoded to take a 100 million ships to the Milky Way, the rest would guard the WH and the Andromeda Galaxy.

After a few months of intense work, the scientists did finally construct the WH.

Jeanne, Arthur and Leo were prepared to go through it.

"Everyone, be ready! We will get in there." said Jeanne.

"Yes!"

Jeanne was the first to go in, she was the one leading the Earthling fleet.

After going in, they had all the same experience as when they first used it. They were having the impression that a few months passed, then only a few seconds did.

They got out of it, but they didn't particularly know where they were.

Jeanne ordered to scan the area and look at the map of the Orion arm to know their location.

After a quick inspection, they were only a few months away from the Earth, they decided to go at their maximum speed to arrive there quickly.

A few months have passed and Jeanne and her fleet were near the Solar system, she contacted her adoptive mother to inform her about the mission.

The call was accepted.

"Jeanne, is there a problem in the Andromeda Galaxy?" Emma asked.

After all, she only saw a 100 million spaceships from here radar, and she didn't think she will finish her mission this quickly.

"I have only taken a little fleet from there, I will explain to you what happened when I land on Earth"

"Okay, I will call all the other higher-ups."

"Yes, do that."

After that, Emma hanged up.

"Everyone, me with General Knight and Director Leo will go to the Earth, the rest of you can disperse among the other planet to rest." she ordered.

Then, the only three Capital Ships from the fleet broke away from the army and were going toward the Earth.

After landing on the mother planet of Earthling, Jeanne, Arthur and Leo were walking to the meeting room with all the higher-ups.

After everyone was sitting, Emma, as the president, started to talk.

"Now, Jeanne, you were leading this mission, tell us what happened?" she asked.

Everyone was looking at Jeanne with anticipation in their eyes.

She talked about everything that happened in the Andromeda Galaxy, explained their discovery about the secret weapon and the archives they found, and the link with the Builders.

"Here are all the blueprints we found, it would be good to secretly build it, we would be stronger with it. If a problem arose during the war, we could use it, and we could finally find how to make Rudestone ourselves" explained Jeanne.

Other than Arthur and Leo, all eyes were dumbfounded when they were looking at her, they couldn't believe that in a mere two decades, they had been able to take over the entire Andromeda Galaxy.

"That's … incredible." said Emma.

"Yes, we should immediately put these blueprints into a top secret document with only people at this meeting could see it." said someone.

"You're right." another one agreed.

"Let's do this, also we should build a second WH here and on the Andromeda Galaxy to find where we will get out with the use of the WH."

"Jeanne, you successfully come back from your mission, from now on, you will have to control the stability of the Andromeda Galaxy." ordered Emma.

"Yes, president."

"I also have a question. What happened during our absences for the war?" asked Arthur.

"In fact, for now, the war didn't really change anything from when you departed. The real war will begin in about 50 years, it's faster than we predicted. But with your discovery, we now don't really have anything to be scared o, we only need to develop for the time being." Explained Emma.

"Yes!" they all nodded.

The trio departed to the WH with their fleet and 5 billion more spaceships that when they arrived.

After getting through the WH toward the Andromeda Galaxy, they had to control this galaxy thoroughly.

Like that, more than 15 years passed.

Year 1700 of the Earthling calendar

It's been 15 years since Earthling began to control the Andromeda Galaxy, they had implemented the same rules as the ones they had made in the Orion arm.

All civilizations under the rules of Earthling can now get advanced technology with the time-lapse of their civilization advanced to another level. They are civilizations seen with potential.

Those without potential are abandoned with this help, but they are still under Earthling.

The human civilizations have now developed two types of WH, the E1-WH and the E2-WH.

The E1-WH is for going in a wormhole, while the E2-WH is for exiting a wormhole. They did this to exit exactly where they want.

The Andromeda Galaxy and the Orion arm are filled with these two types of machines for travelling faster in it and between the Andromeda and the Milky Way galaxies.

In the Milky Way, the secret weapon from the Shik civilization has been build, they decided to name it the Planet Destroyer.

Jeanne was now the supreme commander of the Andromeda Galaxy, and she had a lot of work to do. She had to oversee the construction of the secret weapon, the maintenance of the WH network, the diplomacy with the other civilizations, and the exploration of the unknown regions. She also had to keep in touch with her mother and her friends in the Milky Way, and report any new discoveries or problems.

One day, she received a message from Leo, who was in charge of the exploration team. He said that he had found something interesting in a remote star system, and that he wanted her to see it for herself. He sent her the coordinates and told her to come as soon as possible.

Jeanne was curious about what Leo had found, so she decided to go there with Arthur and a small escort of ships. She entered the nearest E1-WH and set the destination to the coordinates that Leo had given her. She hoped that it was something important and not just another false alarm.

She exited the E2-WH and saw Leo's ship waiting for her. He hailed her and said:

"Jeanne, I'm glad you're here. Follow me, I'll show you what I found."

He led her to a planet that looked barren and lifeless. He said:

"This planet is called Shik-4. It was once inhabited by the Shik civilization, but they abandoned it long ago. We scanned it and found something strange in its core. Look at this."

He showed her a hologram of the planet's interior. She saw a huge metal sphere that seemed to be embedded in the core. It had wires and tubes connecting it to various parts of the planet.

"What is that?" Jeanne asked.

"We don't know for sure, but we think it's some kind of device that controls the planet's gravity. It seems to be able to increase or decrease the gravity at will. We also detected some kind of energy signature coming from it, but we couldn't identify it."

"Why would they need such a device? Maybe it's also a device from the Builders, they couldn't possibly create this with their technology." Arthur asked.

"Maybe they used it for experiments, or for defense, or for some other purpose. We don't know their motives. But we do know that this device is very powerful and very dangerous. If it falls into the wrong hands, it could cause a lot of damage."

"Who could possibly get their hands on it?" Jeanne asked.

"Well, there are some rogue factions in this galaxy that are not loyal to Earthling. They are always looking for ways to rebel or sabotage our efforts. They might try to steal this device or use it against us."

"Then we should destroy it or take it with us." Jeanne said.

"That's what I thought, too. But there's a problem. The device is protected by a force field that we can't penetrate. We tried to hack into it, but we couldn't find any access point or weakness. It seems to be self-contained and self-sufficient."

"Then how do we get rid of it?" Jeanne asked.

"I have an idea, but it's risky." Leo said.

"What is it?" Jeanne asked.

"We could try to overload the device by sending a massive amount of energy into it. Maybe that would cause it to malfunction or explode."

"How do we do that?" Jeanne asked.

"We could use our ships' weapons to fire at it from orbit. But we would need a lot of firepower and coordination. And we would have to be careful not to damage the planet too much."

"That sounds dangerous." Arthur said.

"It is. But I think it's worth a try." Leo said.

"Alright then. Let's do it." Jeanne said.

She contacted her escort ships and told them about the plan. They agreed to follow her orders. She then ordered them to form a circle around the planet and aim their weapons at the core.

"Ready?" she asked.

"Ready." they replied.
