Chapter 25

Felicia was studying Brian’s blood samples when Sebastian returned.

“I come bearing gifts.” The detective said, holding up a brown bag. “I hope you like gyros.”

“Is this your way of apologizing?” Felicia asked as she stood up, taking the bag from him, along with a drink in a large styrofoam cup, which she took a sip of. “Mm, strawberry lemonade.”

“So am I forgiven, then?” Sebastian looked at her with slightly pleading eyes.

“Oh, alright. Just try not to be such a jackass in the future.”

“I suppose that my people skills are a little bit rusty.”

“I would offer my help, but I’m not the best when it comes to people myself.” Felicia walked to an empty counter, emptying the paper bag of its contents, which consisted of a large gyro and a side of Greek salad, minus the feta cheese.

“Something told me that you weren’t much of a feta cheese person,” Sebastian said with a smile. “That something being Kirk.”

“Kirk?” Felicia’s eyes widened. “You mean that you talked to him?”
