No one knows how it started. Domestic animals began to go wild, reverting to their primal states and lashing out at their owners. Felicia Owens, CDC scientist in Los Angeles, was attacked out of the blue by her cat. Now, Felicia is fighting bouts of irritability, anger, and outright primal rage. When others begin acting in a similar way, Felicia realizes that she needs to figure out what’s going on and how to cure it before it’s too late. Maybe it already is.

Primal Instincts

Everyone quickly gathered their bags at the hotel and then rushed to the airport. Although Chris had been disappointed that they couldn’t stay a little bit longer, Felicia had promised him that after everything was said and done, they would come back and actually spend a few days to explore and take in the culture around them. 


Akira’s two bodyguards tagged along, Akira thought that they might be useful if they ran into some kind of trouble. They were two Ugandan men, Mukasa Apio and Babirye Okello, each one had military experience, and Babirye even had experience with the Ugandan Special Forces. 


“Do they not talk?” Chris asked Akira as they boarded a plane that was headed back for the States. 


“They believe that actions speak louder than words,” Akira replied. 


“My kind of man,” Sabine said, and Mukasa sent her a small smile. 


“Looks like someone might be getting lucky tonight.” Felicia teased as she nudged her friend.
