PART 1

"What do you want to talk about?" I asked Shenor as I slid the door.

"Have a seat." He said politely without leaving his spot.

I obediently sat across the table facing him.

"Have a drink!" He said as he offered me a small bowl of wine." Don't worry about poison." He said as I stared at the cup.

He took a sip."See!" He said and offered me again.

"No thanks, I don't drink booze." I kindly refuse.

"Guess it's your loss." He chugged the wine.

"..."

Silence follows the mood and after a few minutes Shenor finally spoke up.

"Do you suspect me?" He asked.

I'm not sure if he's drunk or if he actually means it.

"Why do you say that?" I asked.

"It's just...you seem to not trust me. Even just moments ago you refused to accept my offer because you suspect that I poisoned it." He said.

"I didn't refuse it because I thought it was poisonous. I'm just wondering whether it's water or booze as they are both transparent mediums. But recalling your reaction while drinking makes me know it was in fact not wine." I answered honestly.

"But you don't trust me right?" He asked.

"Well that's obvious. I don't trust you but it's not because of what happened, I just don't trust anyone. The same goes for everyone." I said.

"How so?" He asked.

"If one trusts another, that means there should be no such thing as doubt across their mind, meaning they should believe in them 100%. And when one trusts another fully it's considered stupidity or idiocracy. Which is exactly why people started to doubt." I sigh." Well I'm just saying no-one trusts one another. Because they always thought of what if."

"I see, I understand. In that case I take it that you believe that I am not guilty of it." Shenor said.

"That's a given. Considering that a human or a living being can suddenly collapse out of nowhere. And putting Draken in the same condition as them, it's highly fatigued."

"I see. That would make sense if he's involved in some fights. Is he involved in something like that?" He asked.

"Well he might have joined a few missions consecutively." I said. " Anyway forget about that. You want to talk about something right?"

"Ahhh. About that, I want to ask you a favor. Is that okay?" He asked.

I nodded slightly.

"I want you to help me on this case..." And so he began explaining his request.

"I understand." I said as he finished his story.

"Well then see you." He bid me farewell as I was to return back to Chris.
