Chapter Twenty-two The End

It was a blissful weekend, Jimi and I were eating together with my parent. He just can't take his eyes off me as usual, it was a normal thing for a boyfriend to be too close but my mom's attitude was different. She wasn't comfortable with it neither did she know we were dating. But for our body language, she could perceive that we were more than friends.
"Are you two dating? She asked Jimi in particular.
"yYesMom we are dating" he replied. Telling lies wasn't his thing he rather tell the truth and get scolded.
"When did it start? She asked affordably.
"Since last month"
"You both can't date". I wasn't surprised, I have always known that she wouldn't support our relationship but I have determined never to break up with Jimi because of her.
"Mom there is nothing bad in having a boyfriend," I said civilly
"Oh! Yeah! At sixteen you are involved in such an immoral act"
"No Mom Kira and I have never done something stupid" Jimi interrupted her.
"Mom they are right, why can't we talk or bring our boyfriend home? Tolu has been quite suddenly speaking up.
Suddenly she ran to the toilet to throw up.
"Are you alright? Mom asked with much concern but Tolu would not say a word.
" She is pregnant" I voiced out. < br//>My mom smacked my face "You lier"< br//>"No mom k is right am pregnant"
"You are what? It sounded like a rumble to my mom's ears, she immediately left the dining. As for Daddy looked at Tolu in dismay " I thought you had a self-control".
" am so sorry Dad" Tolu pleaded.
"tell the man he can come and pay your bride price but am disappointed".
Dad wasn't pleased, he was going to give his daughter to a man he doesn't know was the saddest thing.
"why will she have a boyfriend after all I do preach to her"Mom lamented
"It's all your fault, you made her afraid of you. She wasn't able to talk to you about her relationship. It was your duty as a mother to conceal her on how to keep a healthy date but you think you can stop her from dating now you can see the outcome. < br//>< br///>... < br//>Tolu's traditional wedding took place in two weeks, at first I was happy that she was getting married but on the other side felt something different, that feeling of I was going to miss her. Her laugh, her cry, her voice, and most importantly how she tried to cover up for me most times but I know this day will come I will not be having her like before the most important thing was her happiness. < br////>Everything was okay now Jimi was now happier than ever because Timi was back and had turned into a new leaf their home was at peace.
Together with Ibifuro, Johnny, and my lovely boyfriend Jimi, I found a new home. Mom had approved my relationship with Jimi after what happened to sister Tolu. Most times Jimi and I play games and change out with Ib and Johnny.
It was some kind of feeling that feeling of being loved that true feeling of wanting to protect filled my heart, I have made up my mind to study law and my mom was in support of whatever I wanted to be. < br////>"The tomorrow belongs to you Kira "these were her words.
