Execution of the Plan

After questioning Li Yue and receiving a satisfactory answer, the two generals left, pleased. They had plenty of tasks ahead of time as they would oversee the operation personally. Li Yue also had to prepare himself, as he was a Jaeger pilot and the key figure in this operation responsible for carrying the nuclear warhead.

Soon, Li Yue arrived at the location where General Lin Zhen Guo had first shown him the Jaegers. Looking at the now fully modified Jaeger, Li Yue felt excited. The Jaeger no longer looked the same as when he first saw it. Instead, it was redesigned to resemble the silver Vibranium suit he knew.

The entire Jaeger was silver-white, reflecting dazzling light under the lamps. It held a weapon in its hands—a trident blade unique to Li Yue, albeit over a hundred meters long, which perfectly complemented the Jaeger's enormous body. Li Yue, who had rarely piloted such a massive Jaeger in combat, felt an uncontainable eagerness.

After all, Jaegers were the epitome of a man's romance. Although Li Yue's current strength rendered the Jaeger unnecessary, piloting one for fun was still an irresistible temptation. He also planned to take this Jaeger with him when he left this world, not only as a souvenir but possibly for future use, perhaps even to show off to Tony Stark.

...

"Li Yue, do you need me to help you with the neural handshake?" a clear voice rang out from behind him just as he was lost in thought.

"Hehe, little girl, no need for that. This Jaeger has been modified and doesn't require a neural handshake to operate," Li Yue responded, turning back to Lin Yu Rou and refusing her offer.

"No neural handshake? Li Yue, how will you pilot it then?" she asked, her face filled with shock and curiosity. In her understanding, piloting a Jaeger necessitated a neural handshake.

Li Yue piloting a Jaeger solo was already astonishing, and now he didn't even need a neural handshake? She found it hard to believe.

"Hehe, I have my ways. The technology I possess is much more convenient than what you have here," Li Yue said mysteriously before turning back and heading toward the Jaeger's cockpit.

As he walked, Li Yue couldn't help but internally criticise the technology of this world. The unique neural handshake technology, capable of sharing and exploring others' memories, was remarkable and could rival Marvel's black technology. If further developed, it could become a powerful black technology capable of reading any human or creature's memory. Unfortunately, in this world, it was only used for piloting Jaegers.

However, the Jaeger modified by Li Yue required no such stringent conditions. It didn't need the neural handshake technology to operate effectively. As Li Yue approached the cockpit, Lin Yu Rou remained rooted, staring at his departing figure, deep in thought.

...

Time passed, and half an hour quickly went by. In the command room, everyone was on high alert, focused on their screens. Generals Lin Zhen Guo and Pentecost stood before a giant virtual screen, awaiting the battle footage to be projected.

"Report, Gipsy Danger is ready for deployment!"

"Report, Cherno Alpha is ready for deployment!"

"Report, Striker Eureka is ready for deployment!"

"Report, Crimson Typhoon is ready for deployment!"

...

As each Jaeger reported its readiness, Li Yue also entered the cockpit of his new Jaeger. Little Dumb had modified the interior, which no longer resembled its original state. The cockpit now featured a single transparent spherical device with a seat resembling a reclining chair.

Li Yue entered the sphere and lay back in the chair, feeling quite comfortable. "Little Dumb, let's begin," he instructed. Immediately, his body was secured in the chair, and the watch on his wrist transformed into a silver "stream," which moved to his head, forming a helmet that covered his face completely.

In an instant, Li Yue felt like he was traversing dimensions again. Despite the helmet covering his eyes, he could see the surroundings, almost as if he could see through the Jaeger's exterior.

It felt as though Li Yue had merged with the Jaeger. The Jaeger executed any action he imagined in his mind without any delay. This system, borrowed from Tony Stark, proved incredibly convenient. It felt like controlling a character in a virtual game, where the Jaeger moved precisely as he commanded.

...

"I am ready," Li Yue echoed in the command room. Though it had only been a minute, Generals Lin Zhen Guo and Pentecost were relieved to hear it. The success of this counterattack plan hinged on Li Yue. Any mishap on his part would have dire consequences.

With everything ready, it was time to proceed. General Pentecost gestured to General Lin Zhen Guo to give the final command.

"Commence the counterattack plan! We will emerge victorious!" General Lin Zhen Guo ordered, his voice firm and resonant.
