CHAPTER THREE: GOT SAVED BY DIABOLOS

"Don't kill him!" With her voice sounding like an order, she gently let go of his dress.

Her face suddenly went pale, her eyes shut closed with her body which fell to the ground.

"I will come for you another time!" The young man bawled his fist as he uttered his words with contempt.

He lifted the fragile lady who was lying unconscious. Through the back exist, her walked out.

"S..." He whistled.

In no time, two white horses were brought to him. He lifted the pale-looking lady, and sat her down in front of him as he drove off.

While riding, his eyes couldn't get off the mark on her neck. She is the angel he has been looking for years. The angel he always dreamt about. The angel that will heal him and set him free! She is his!

Just as she hails from hell; his light. He rises from her ashes!

*30 DAYS LATER*

"Uh?" As Luciana raised her head, her eyes blinked in aghast. — Only to see herself under the beautiful hot sun with the brightness from the cloud which shone on her dazzling face.

Is this a dream or reality? How did she come out of the darkroom? What happened to her on the 'Night of Royale'? Why is she on this strange land because the sand from last night is different from this.

'Did I get abducted?' She thought. Her gaze narrowed down to a cute broad hand holding hers, and a beautiful white horse which they rode on.

"Who are you?" She asked with her voice echoing repeatedly. The land seems strange to her!

At the same time, she felt happy, and sad. Nervous, and curious. The curiosity about knowing how her father married her off. 'Did he really drug her, and sell her to the richest suitor?' She asked herself, as the horse which they rode on already described his personality.

She wants to see the face of the person who claims to be her husband, but it seems the more she tries to turn her gaze to face him, the more painful her neck felt.

She has no option rather than to fall off the horse. "Arrgh". She groaned as she fell off the horse with a young man, who fell beside her.

He is the most handsome man she has come across— not as if she has ever gone out to have a glimpse of cute men.

"Who are you?" She asked with eagerness as she was ready to know who this young, strange man was.

His gaze alone made her heart flutter. He is too handsome to resist. Is it the breeze that blew his golden hair? The smile on his purplish lips? His reddish eyes piercing into her soul? The fitting body that suits perfectly his dazzling robe? —She loves them all!

"I guess you won't want to know me". His statement made her burst into loud laughter. How can she not want to know who her husband is? How can he be so cold in a funny statement? Does he know the grief of what he just said? Whose bride won't want to know about his groom?

"What did you mean?" Luciana asked as she stood up, and dusted her dress alongside the strange man.

"We will still reach our home". Ignoring his question, the cold man uttered.

"I need an explanation!" She half yelled as her face went pale.

"What should I explain?" He asked.

"Everything! Who are you? How much did you buy me from my father? Why did you agree to confine me? Why?" As she asked, tiny tears streamed down from her ocean-blue eyes.

"I If you are curious, let go home. This place isn't a place to make noise, as your voice could attract wide animals". His words sent shivers into her small body as she trembled.

"Where are we?" She asked hastily with fear in her eyes. She looks cute when she is afraid.

"We are at the forbidden Olon forest". The mention of the evil forest made her tongue-tied, and her heart skipped for a second.

They both went silent as the only voice they could hear was the sweet sound from birds, and some beautiful harmless animals.

'It feels good to be outside. It feels like a miracle that I can hear sounds from animals apart from the hop of frogs, and caterpillars. Also feel cold breeze on my skin".

"It sure feels good". The strange man echoed.

"Did he hear me? Did I just say that out loud?" She asked herself as she covered her mouth shyly.

"You are free to talk because we are out of the forest, and will be at home in some hours". His words remembered her of her past days.

The days she used to stay lonely in her confined room. Dark, and scary, but she has no choice. Frightened and always hugging her mattress is what she does most.

Going back to that time makes her feel bitter and miserable! How can she cope all alone in a dark room? The feeling of being abandoned by her husband made her frightened more.

"Will you abandon me?" She found herself asking loudly as her ocean-blue eyes stared at him with tears clustered in them.

"You will get the answer when we get home". He replied before he started riding at maximum speed.

After hours of riding, they arrived in a big city. The gate flung open, and the beautiful view of women calling for patronage, beautiful plants, wonderful fragrance from flowers, and aroma from meals are not an exemption.

"My Lord!" They all went on their knees with their head buried in the ground.

"What did they mean by my lord?" With confusion written all over her face, she asked.

Even if he is rich, the whole kingdom will never go on their knees for him. Only the royals deserve it, and his personality is far from royale.

Which royal will agree to confine his wife? Which royal will come for a bride without sending royal gifts before taking their bride? —that is her thought!

"Prince Dasya!" Did she just heard that right? Is the man holding her wrist really the almighty Prince Dasya? Is her husband the rumored 'Devil? The reincarnation of the Devil which is known as the Devil's son?'

"Are you Diabolos?"
