The wild girl of Lafayette Part 2

When the last cryptid was defeated the first ones to die had already vanished and dropped their flux orbs in the murky waters, making them near impossible to be found and Uriel realized he didn't have enough time to extract all the orbs from the bodies before they vanished which is why he decided to entrust that task to his faithful companion, the jaguar spirit.

He dropped the clay figurine on the shallow waters and the jaguar bursted out with its usual display of power and magnificence, only to behave like a starving cat when Uriel said it was ok for him to devour the fallen cryptids. At that point, Uriel didn't care if the ebast ate the orbs since they would have gone to waste anyway, besides, he wanted to keep an eye on his surroundings in case the girl showed up again.
