The evil that men do Part 3

The nurse led Uriel towards the elevator at a slow steady pace as though she hesitated before taking each step. To her, taking Uriel upstairs was both necessary and painful, the same as taking an innocent lamb into the slaughterhouse. Her concern, though, only served to annoy Uriel who was in a hurry to get there as soon as possible.

"Can't you walk any faster? I'm bleeding out here." He grunted, pretending he was in great pain. The cut was deep, but it was nothing compared to the gruesome wounds he had in the past and he was already accustomed to pain.

"Why didn't you listen to me? Now there's nothing I can do to save you." The nurse mumbled to herself instead of replying, but Uriel was able to hear her.

"Calm down, I was exaggerating. I'm not actually bleeding out, I just wanted to get in here." He replied with a shrug and stopped pretending his hand hurt.

"You don't get it! This place is dangerous!"
