The Mayan ceremonial dagger had an inscription in the ancient language that read: "Offer thy heart". It's obviously an instruction left by the past inhabitants of this forgotten place, but who would be stupid enough to stab himself in the heart with a rusty old knife found inside a tombstone?

After activating my battery pack the dagger shimmers brightly in a cyan light, the creatures are coming, I can hear their steps.

In spite of the skinwalkers cunning nature, Uriel had no chance but to follow the cryptid to wherever it wanted to take him. If it decided to take him to an ambush or if it actually meant to take him to the girl's location, it was yet to be revealed. All Uriel knew was that the more time he spent inside that building, the more dangerous it became.

He had no mean to know if they sounded a silent alarm or if they were being watched right now, but he decided not to turn his back on the poor schoolgirl. Especially since the more he thought about it, the more he regretted not helping out the rookie hunters when he himself experienced the same struggles they were facing.

Not long after Uriel tailed the cryptid, the muffled sound of desperate screams reached his ears. It was intense, but because of how the hospital was built the sound was muted by the doors making it seem as though it was far away.
