Chapter 10 - Perplexing situation -Part 6

The young lady stood at the side of the blacksmith, almost the same height as him, with pink lightning crackling along her sides. She exuded an aggressive aura, that's for sure, I thought to myself.

As she attacked, I noticed an odd mark on her neck in the shape of a small crescent moon. Her kick wasn't strong, but the attack was placed perfectly and bruised one of my ribs that quickly healed.

This girl might be a slave or was a slave at some point, I speculated.

Humans tend to brand each other in an attempt at ownership. It's truly a sign of weakness.

Trying not to cause a scene, I spoke out to them both. "I have a letter from Master Draven stating the order and allowing me to pick it up. He mentioned it had a bonus in it since he heard about you losing an arm."

The blacksmith paused with skepticism before taking the letter and opening its contents. Quickly, he summoned an object that glowed a bright blue and displayed a flat screen.
