Chapter 14 - A Fathers Strike– Part 4

Unrestrained by my thoughts, my mind begins to blank out as a flood of black flames surrounds me. I launch a massive black ring of fire, scorching the earth around the crater and instantly disintegrating, burning the flesh off Cliff. He is nearly killed instantly.

In my haze and confusion, I had neglected Lord Tooj, who snaps his fingers, reversing the damage caused. He jumps down, attempting to strike back at me with his enhanced strength. However, it has little effect as my new form absorbs the attack. I counter with a punch, throwing Lord Tooj into the dirt and gravel wall next to me, sand falling slowly overhead.
