Chapter 11: New Threats

In a dimly lit room, intricate carvings of ancient symbols sprawled across the walls, and soft, haunting chants emanated from an unseen source. In the center of the room stood a grand obsidian table, its surface so polished it reflected the eerie blue flames that danced in braziers around it. A tall, looming figure with a mantle of richly dyed fabrics stood opposite another: an ethereal, white-skinned creature with piercing crimson eyes, an image of dread.

The taller figure, a robust man with deep-set eyes and a scar running down his cheek, broke the silence. "You've returned, Mr. White."

The demon, Mr. White, responded with a mocking bow, "For you, Chief Bronzor... or should I say, Director?"

Bronzor's eyes flashed with irritation. "You'd do well to remember your place, demon. While we're here, it's 'Director'."
