When Felicity arrived at Binary X lab, her colleague examined her before she informed the team about Quicksand's intervention, taking the X-gang away. They began to speculate whether the X-gang was working for Quicksand or not. Felicity felt remorse for not apprehending them on time, and she regretted trying out her newfound powers, realizing she had been carried away by Temptress's telepathic abilities.

As they discussed, Felicity's stepmom, Kyla, the CEO of Binary X, appeared on their security camera, heading towards their department. Felicity swiftly concealed all their superhero equipment with her super speed just before Kyla arrived. They exchanged pleasantries, and Kyla, here to inspect department progress, was surprised to see Felicity. She must have seen Felicity spending time with Becca.

Felicity had forgotten she left a clone with Becca and had to concoct a plausible excuse, which Kyla accepted. Once Kyla saw that Felicity's department was running smoothly, she left them to their business. Felicity's colleagues were astounded by her abilities and her forgetfulness about the clone. Some admired her, while others disagreed with her using her powers for personal gain, urging her to find balance with her trusted team at Binary X.

Days passed without any city-threatening crimes, not even from Quicksand. Felicity and her team grew suspicious, with some suggesting it might be karma. "You know I don't believe in karma, right?" a male colleague replied. "No crime, not even a hint of it. It's like crime decided to take a vacation."

Felicity voiced her unease, "Something feels off, and I don't like it."

As they discussed, they were startled by the sudden appearance of Emily Frost, Felicity's former colleague. "Emily!" Felicity exclaimed, about to embrace her, but Emily stopped her.

"What's the matter?" Felicity asked, concern etched on her face.

Emily Frost took a deep breath as she surveyed her former department, which had undergone upgrades and changes. She smiled when she spotted Felicity's super suit and asked Felicity if she was also a speedster. Felicity confirmed it, making eye contact with her colleagues, some of whom nodded in agreement, while others seemed skeptical.

Felicity was overjoyed to see Emily's return and informed her that the cure she had been working on was nearly complete, pending analysis. Emily's expression shifted from worry to concern, and she didn't bother to hide it. Her ex-colleagues noticed and grew curious. Emily wasted no time and revealed the rogue speedster's sinister plan to Felicity and her colleagues. She explained that they were all aware of Felicity's true identity, thanks to Temptress who had exposed it to the rogue speedster.

Furthermore, Emily warned them that the rogue speedster was hatching a dangerous plan, resorting to ending Felicity if his team failed to stop her. While they discussed this dire situation, a member from another department walked in, locked eyes with Emily, and was visibly shocked. He had seen the news about Emily, branding her as wanted and dangerous. Fearfully, he left without stating his purpose, rushing to inform the Vill-City police.

Within minutes, the police arrived at Binary X, and it became clear to Felicity's group that the department member had alerted the authorities. They observed this on their monitoring screens and were stunned to see him leading the armed police toward their department.

Felicity's colleagues tried to hide the situation from Emily while planning her escape. Meanwhile, Emily caught sight of the police heading toward their department on another security feed and grew furious, believing Felicity and her colleagues had betrayed her by summoning the police.

They attempted to calm Emily down, explaining that they hadn't called the police, and Emily vented her anger, blaming Felicity for not heeding her warning about working with tachyon particles. As they were in the midst of this tense exchange, the police barged in with guns drawn, instructing Emily to surrender and not make any suspicious moves. Felicity and her colleagues tried to reason with the police.

Just as Emily Frost raised her hands behind her head in compliance, she made a statement before erupting in rage. "He was right! I should have listened to him. It was a mistake for me to come here," she exclaimed in anger, pushing everyone aside with a burst of frost and making her daring escape.

Felicity swiftly recovered, donned her super suit, and raced after Emily, who had frozen every entrance and exit of the Binary X organization. Emily had managed to escape through an underground exit before Felicity could catch her. Despite her speed, Felicity couldn't find any trace of Emily.

When Felicity returned to Binary X Labs after Emily's escape, she transformed back into her work suit. Some of her colleagues and a few cops had started to recover from the aftermath of Emily's powers. Tragically, two officers and a male colleague had not survived the impact, while those who did recover sustained minor injuries.

A male colleague asked Felicity if she had been able to apprehend Emily before her escape, to which she sadly replied with a "no." He inquired if she had searched the entire building, to which Felicity reluctantly admitted that she had.

Before the police left, they called for backup as the department had become a crime scene. Felicity had swiftly removed all their crime-fighting equipment. The CEO of Binary X, Kyla, was informed about the situation by the police and had a private discussion with Felicity. She asked Felicity if she had any involvement with Emily Frost's attack on her colleagues, to which Felicity vehemently denied any connection. After much convincing, Kyla chose to trust Felicity and emphasized that she would always support her decisions. Kyla also stressed the importance of open communication, urging Felicity to be truthful, no matter how difficult things became.

Weeks of investigation yielded no tangible results, and Felicity's department eventually resumed its work. They mourned the loss of their ex-colleague, and during this period, Felicity's personal life began to crumble as she became increasingly hard on herself. The cure she had prepared for Emily was destroyed during the incident, forcing her to start from scratch.

One day, while diligently working on the cure in Binary X Lab, an emergency alert appeared on their screens, notifying them of super villains and non-super villains wreaking havoc in the city. A female colleague urgently called Felicity's attention to the chaos unfolding outside.

"It's chaos out there, and the police aren't capable of handling it," the female colleague exclaimed.

"V! You need to do something..." added a male colleague.

As Felicity watched the villains wreak havoc on the city through the screen, her face took on a steely determination. She swiftly changed into her super suit and crafted enough power cuff neutralizers in seconds before setting off. Upon arriving at the chaotic scene, she prioritized the safety of civilians and officers, whisking them away from harm's reach before the villains even noticed her presence.

Velocity acted swiftly, incapacitating several super-powered villains with the power cuff neutralizers and sending them off to super jail in the blink of an eye. She moved with such incredible speed, creating clones and speed mirages, leaving the villains bewildered and unable to comprehend her abilities. Handling the non-superpowered villains, she delivered them to the police with unmatched efficiency.

While battling the X-gang, Velocity outwitted and incapacitated Tremble, Combustion, and Vanish using her speed clones and mirages as distractions before facing Temptress. During the battle, a super villain attempted to sneak up on Velocity, but she was saved by a quick-thinking officer who shot the assailant dead.

Velocity and Temptress engaged in a fierce mental battle, with Temptress pushing her telepathic abilities to the limit. However, Velocity's determination allowed her to overcome Temptress and apply a power cuff neutralizer before transporting her to super jail.

An assassin with a sniper rifle took aim at Velocity from a distance but was shocked to see her catch the fast-moving bullet before incapacitating him and handing him over to the police.

Back at Binary X labs, Felicity's colleagues marveled at Velocity's incredible feats. However, Velocity began to sense that something was amiss, feeling like this whole ordeal might be a distraction. She rushed home and confronted Emily Frost, who had her entire family held hostage.

Velocity was taken aback by Emily's presence and tried to reason with her, urging her to do the right thing and become whole again. When she addressed Emily by her name, it visibly upset her, and Emily insisted on being called "Frozen."

"Did you know that he knew my nickname? He called me Frozen," she exclaimed. "He showed me how to accept who I am and how to harness my curse as a gift."

"I don't know how he knew, Emily, but Quicksand is not to be trusted. Whatever he's told you, it won't be for your benefit. I have the cure right here; you can have it and your life back," Velocity offered, her voice calm and sincere.

"Hmm!" scoffed Frozen. "Is that what you guys called him?"

As Velocity and Emily engaged in their intense discussion, Felicity's family couldn't help but wonder what Velocity had to do with their lives, and they soon found out as Felicity's big secret was revealed.

Frozen, also known as Emily Frost, turned toward Felicity's family and inquired whether they were aware of Felicity's whereabouts and her secret life. She came to Kyla, Felicity's stepmom, and asked if she knew who she was, to which Kyla responded with a hesitant "yes."

"Then you know I'm Felicity's work acquaintance," stated Frozen. "Do you know where Felicity is right now?" she asked.

"She's at work," Kyla replied.

"Is that right, Velocity? Is Felicity at work?" Frozen questioned Velocity.

Frozen then demanded that Becca call Felicity's mobile for confirmation, and she reluctantly did so, hearing the ringing coming from Velocity. Everyone was surprised but still didn't understand why Velocity had Felicity's phone.

"Care to explain?" Frozen yelled at Velocity, demanding that she tell the truth and reveal her secret identity. Velocity tried to calm down Frozen, who only grew more agitated.

"Don't do this, Frozen. They have nothing to do with this. Let them go," pleaded Velocity, but Frozen threatened to hurt Becca, who became frightened.

"Maybe I'll start by killing the love of your life," said Frozen, slowly torturing Becca by burning her hand with ice. Becca screamed, and Velocity couldn't bear it any longer. She told Frozen to stop and revealed her identity as Felicity.

Felicity's family was stunned, and Frozen laughed maniacally, remarking that what Felicity did wasn't so difficult after all.

"What is your motive in all this, Emily?" Felicity asked, trying to understand.

Emily began approaching Felicity, moving around her while discussing how she despised Felicity for not listening, for making promises she couldn't keep, for ruining her life, and betraying her trust. Felicity remained calm, trying to convey that she had always had Emily's best interests at heart.

"Lies!" Emily yelled. "You were busy showing off your newfound abilities, saving the day. You never kept your promises fulfilled. If you were fast enough, V! How come you never finished the cure for me? You were busy with your adventurous life, lying to your family about your secret life, and using your abilities to balance your other life. How pathetic of you to use your abilities for your own personal affairs."

"You didn't tell Becca, did you?" Emily asked Felicity, a demanding edge to her tone.

"Go on, tell her," Emily insisted.

"Tell me what?" Becca asked in confusion.

"Okay, I'll tell her myself then," Emily decided, revealing to Becca that those enjoyable moments with Felicity were actually her clones at work while the real Felicity was off saving the day. Becca's heart sank upon learning the truth, especially since sometimes Felicity forgot to merge with her clones, missing out on their memories of their time together.

"Truly, love is blind, isn't it? You couldn't even see the truth," Emily remarked.

Felicity tried to explain and apologize, but Becca was upset, recalling the times Felicity had forgotten important dates, like their dating anniversary. As the tension escalated, Becca threatened Felicity's family and forced her to choose who would live or die.

Fear gripped Felicity's family as Emily's icy hand hovered threateningly over them. Felicity refused to choose, and as Emily's patience waned, she was about to harm the O'Neill family. In a swift move, Felicity grabbed Emily and raced to a distant location. However, Emily's freezing abilities hindered Felicity's speed, causing them both to crash to the ground.

Felicity regained her composure slightly faster than Emily, who had frozen her legs and hands. Frozen walked up to Felicity, blaming her for ruining her life with the tachyon particles she had warned her not to work on. Then, Emily froze Felicity completely.

However, time passed, and something unexpected occurred. Felicity's frozen body began to break free. This clever maneuver allowed Felicity to deceive Frozen, who had believed she had successfully killed Felicity by freezing her completely.

As Emily continued her monologue about the faults of her ex-colleagues at Binary X, a female colleague managed to discreetly alert Felicity by pressing a secret button under the table. Frozen noticed her attempt and froze her hand to the table, claiming that she had killed Felicity.

In a daring rescue, Felicity rushed to the scene and injected Frozen with the cure, causing her to scream in pain before reverting back to her normal self. Relieved but furious, Emily raised her hand to display her powers to her ex-colleagues, only to realize that her abilities were gone.

"What have you done?" Emily yelled in fury at Felicity, who calmly explained that she had cured her.

Enraged by Felicity's action, Emily vowed revenge on her and her ex-colleagues. The police arrived, alerted by a male colleague after Felicity had changed back into her work uniform. Felicity chased after Becca, attempting to reason with her and express her love, but Becca had reached her limit with Felicity's lies and broken promises, and she needed time to process everything.

While Felicity and Becca were having their emotional discussion outside, their heartfelt conversation was inadvertently overheard by their family members. Becca proceeded to remove her engagement ring from her finger, a symbolic gesture that conveyed the finality of her decision.

"I can't be the only one putting effort into our relationship, V. It's become too difficult for me to handle the secrets, the lies, and the burdens you've placed on me. I'm sorry it has to end this way, V," Becca O'Neill expressed, her words heavy with heartbreak. She then got into her car and drove off to clear her thoughts.

Sometime later, Emily Frost, who had been imprisoned for her crimes, contemplated her deep-seated hatred for Felicity and her ex-colleagues. Just as she pondered how to exact her revenge without any powers, something unexpected occurred. She began to feel an icy chill within her, and with each breath, a cold mist escaped her lips. A crackling surge of lightning enveloped her, awakening her powers once more.

Realizing that her powers had returned and that she was no longer disfigured by her icy abilities, Emily couldn't help but smirk with a newfound sense of deadly determination.
