Chapter 5
After we got ourselves prepared, and packed everything we needed during our venture to the outside world, Lucrane then headed straight to the [Teleportation Array], and behind her was me, following her. We are heading straight towards the direction behind our hut, as I didn't know yet which is the north, south, east, and west direction, so don't blame me. We are going towards the deep grown forest where we sometimes chopped some trees down to make firewood. As we head there, full grown trees could be seen, loitering around the place, and circling and gathering around the tower's ground. Whistle of the forest deep could only be heard, as the ground floor didn't have any birds, insects, or any small monsters hooping around, and running the ground.
As we walked for quite a while, we then stumble down a huge pillar of stones, carved with a magnificent art, sculptured by a man who wanted to become a god, or by a God who wanted to become a man, as the portray that was portrayed, speaks about a man and a God in one. Other than how mysterious the art was, the detailed sculpture was mesmerizing and beautiful enough that I could say for sure, that this will be placed in the museum, maybe not the center piece, but one of the center core. I then continued moving, as I followed Lucrane behind.
After a few more meters of walking down the deep forest, we then came across a flowing, peaceful and clear river, that is quite rare from Earth nowadays

Fishes then leap and jump, as they swam the streaming water.

We then went towards a wooden bridge that was quite well-done made. The towers upfront and back was placed on the edge of the split ground, where the river stream. Its an arch bridge, and quite beautiful. After we passed through the wooden arch bridge, we then continued walking down the deep forest once again. The deeper we go, the more beautiful the place become. Dead trunks that stumble the forest ground, lingers around the forest deep, and as times goes by, some moss and ferns then started growing around those trunks, making way for another life to sprout. We also passed some amazing rock formation, from a medium ones to a bit larger form. Sunlight still passes through the forest, making way of the light as the trees bended over to make way. And around the forest, lashes of stunning flowers grows around. Some were in groups creating a gorgeous and beautiful flower fields, some were loitering around the forest, creating a beautiful portrait, and colorful impression.
"After we got from our adventure, I'm planning on adding some monsters here and there around the forest, to make it livelier and bountiful"
She said as she walked forward.
"I think so too. Maybe some Deers, and -"
"Wait, you have {Deers} in your world?"
She then halted and turn around, as she asked in surprise. I was quite surprised too
"Well, we do have some, with different species also"
"Different species? Like those with sharp horns, six legs, huge body, and powerful-"
"Woah hold on there girl, we only have normal ones okay, NORMAL ones"
I said, as I tried halting her with her out of this norm animals, even rodolf weren't that fantasy-ish.
"We have different breed of them, bigger ones, small ones, different colors, different antler sizes and forms, but never did we have those monstrous beings. And if we did have those, then you should have somebody else as your [Sub Manager], not me"
She then made a quite dejected, but interested expression. She then turn back to front, and started walking again.
"So what other mon- I mean, animals do you have in your world anyway?"
"Well, we have Bears back in world"
"{Bears}? We also have those here"
"You do?"
Intrigued I asked
"Yes, they are quite ferocious type of monsters, with a huge and tall structures like a boulder, with sharp claws and fangs. They are immune in physical attack, thanks to their thick fur. They are mostly found in the west region. They tend to reach Lv 80 to Lv 200. The older they get, the more powerful and dangerous they become"
".... We also have lizards there, different types of birds, snakes, and foxes"
Trying to sway away the thought of meeting those beast in our adventure, I then started adding all the animals back in earth, that are mostly seen inside the forest
"Talking about Foxes, in most fantasy series they are akin to a beautiful lady, coaxing men and so, is that true?"
"Yes, those {Foxes} you are referring about are {Beastkins}"
"Aren't they those half man, and half monster?"
She then nodded
"Yes, those {Beastkin} with the race of {Foxes} are quite good in charms and magic, they tend to be in class between [Assassin Mage] or [Witch]. They are quite hard to fought, as they tend to have an annoying exclusive skill"
"And, what is it?"
She then quite turn her head to the side as she muttered
"[9 lives of Immortality], and every time they got revived, the stronger they become"
We then also discussed about different kinds of animals that were common to my world, and compared them to the monsters they were here in Lucrane's world. One of them was Bats, Snakes, Lions, Lizards, Birds from Owls, Eagles, Sparrows, and Ducks. They also have Rhinos, Elephants, Bulls, Yaks, and Goats, and some other more.
As we talked to lively up the atmosphere, we then came across another river

We then went and crossed another wooden bridge, but this time, the bridge is flat, long, and has a design similar to a letter 'S'. At the left side of my direction, there was a small hut or cottage attached to the wooden bridge. The design wasn't stunning but relaxing, it has open windows, and a table at the center. I think the main reason it was built was for the purpose of relaxation, and no other. We then went inside the deep forest once again, and walked further away from our hut.
A few turns and meters that we took, we then passed through a stunning, and out of this world divine beauty, as a I saw was a wide, pure, and clear pond being surrounded by tall grown trees. The pond has a small boulder on it, beautifying it further. A lashed of elegant, and superb flower were also growing around the pond, making it more stunning to watched. And inside the pond were some Fishes, swimming around as they go. At the front of the pond, the grown trees make way for the sunlight to passed through, touching the pond with its brilliance, making its light reflect the clear, and peaceful water of the pond. It was truly breath taking place, and I just wished to live beside it, just to marvel its alluring beauty. Quite sadden, but I then moved and followed Lucrane behind.
A few more meters, we then arrived to our destination, thanks to all the works we did inside the tower, it seems my stamina weren't the same as before, as we only took a few short rest along the way, and mesmerizing the dazzling exquisitely of the place while you rest, was priceless. As we arrived to our destination, what greeted me was a field of lavender colored flowers, that was occupying almost the whole place.
"Beautiful"
I unconsciously muttered, as my thought suddenly came out from my mouth. At the side of it - just a few meters from the field - was two stones with uneven size. The other one seems to be taller than the other, that seems to be wider. And at the center of the two, behind it, was a small looking cave
'Wait a minute'
As I narrowed my vision, and thoroughly stared at the cave, I then suddenly realized that familiar feeling I have towards that cave
"Isn't that the cave I saw near the gate?"
I muttered, as I remembered that small looking cave that I saw when the first time I came here inside the tower, after I was being chased by that hedious insect monster - {Centropod}. I then walked closer to see if I was right, but as I took a step towards the field
"Don't!"
I then halted, as Lucrane just yelled at me. As I turn my visions towards here, I then saw her wearing an anxious face.
"What?"
I asked in puzzled toned
"Take a detour, don't step on the field like an idiot, I'm begging you"
With her words that both pleading and angry, I then took a detour from field, as I circled it just to reached where the small cave was. Quite frankly speaking, I was truly curious what story was behind that field, that made her react like that. As I arrived at the small looking cave, and stare at it closely, I just then fully understood that it was truly the cave I saw first, when I entered the tower for the first time. I then turn my gaze towards Lucrane - who seems to have her mood back - and asked
"Is this.....it?"
I asked, she then nodded as a response
"Yes, this is the [Teleportation Array] that we are going to use to teleport outside the tower"
I then put my gaze back at the small cave, and frowned at bit as I muttered
"This is the first thing I saw during the time I got attacked by that {Centropod}. I was just a few meters away from it, before I stumble down and lose consciousness"
"You are lucky that you did"
"What?"
With an eyebrow raised, I frowned as I looked at her, giving her a full puzzlingly looked
"Excuse me, what? I almost got ravaged by that freak. Mangled into pieces with its disgusting mouth, and you are telling me that I am lucky? The hell"
Lucrane then kneeled down beside me, and replied to my complain
"That is why I said that you are lucky"
"And that is why I am asking you, why?"
She then muttered
"Well, I forgot to displaced this [Teleportation Array] back then, as I was having a hard time to think where should I place it, and accidentally just placed it near the entrance"
"Then? I don't see any problem with that"
She then sigh and added
"That time, this [Teleportation Array] has no fixed location, and will just randomly teleport you anywhere the array will take you"
She then looked at me and added
"So in short, rather than a quick easy death, you might have teleported to a [Wolf's Den], and get feasted by those hungry {Wolves}, or inside a volcano where you get burned alive, worst, maybe inside a dungeon. So if you did succeed going inside the array to get away from that monster, you will be directly teleported outside without a fixed location, while on your dying breath. So if that isn't luck, then what it is?"
I then looked at Lucrane and opened my mouth to retort, which I then took back and just scratched my head, and stated, fully agreeing
".... Yeah, I think you are right"
She then smiled and replied
"Indeed I am"
I then stared back at the [Teleportation Array] looking cave, and asked
"So.... What now?"
She then stood up and pointed
"We just need to stand at the center, outside of the cave. There, the magic circle for the array was placed, it will activate if we stood at its center. Well you don't really need to stand at the center, just as long you are inside the array, you will still get teleported"
Hearing her words, I then hurriedly turn to her direction
"Wait, we don't need to get inside that small opening to get teleported?"
I asked, as I just realized how truly miraculously lucky I was, that I truly lost my balance, and stumble down as my body give in that time. Lucrane then nodded and muttered
"That cave looking thingy that you kept mentioning, is just a decoration to make the array a bit mysterious, but as I remember, you are just a meter and a half when you lost consciousness, just a bit more then you will be inside the array. Any second late I was, you will be randomly sent out from the tower, and even I am can't pinpoint where you will be after the [Teleportation], so truly, you are indeed a lucky man"
She said in a playful, teasing tone, which I wasn't happy to be heard off
'I just used all my luck that time'
I silently muttered. After a bit of silence, we then decided to step forward, and headed towards our new destination, the outside world
"Ready to go?"
I then nodded as I grippy hold my back pack's strap, took a deep breath, and went forward along with Lucrane. As we step inside where the said magic circle of the array was placed, a glowing luster of golden light then appeared, with 7 glowing spheres rotating - the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th spheres rotated counterclockwise, while the remaining 2nd, 4th, and 6th spheres rotated at the opposite rotation, clockwise. Runes of unreadable words then emerge from the spheres that moving clockwise. At the center to where we are, a pentagon shape appeared with a thick spear at the center, then, a glowing golden light then engulfed the two of us, and covered everything in our sight.
Swooooshhh
[You are being teleported outside the tower]
And after a few seconds of only seeing a luster of golden light in our sight, it then disappeared, and what showcased before us was a trees of different sizes, and forms that was surrounding around us.

Crook Crook Crook
Rustle Rustle Rustle
Bzzzzzz bzzzzzz
Noises of different monsters then was heard around me, from my side, front, back, and around me, noises that I never heard before back in the tower, and something I tend to hear back in my world.
[You have been teleported near the [Boulder of the Mountain Pass]
".... Wait, [Boulder of the Mountain Pass]? Isn't that the-"
"Yes, the place I told you about during our first meet up, which is just near the [Land of the Great Death Serpent]. Remembering it truly does bring a nostalgic memory"
As Lucrane stated that, she then stood beside me and looked around her
"From here on out, the tower could only do a minimal cooperation, and nothing more, so-"
She then gazed at me with stoic, and serious cold expression and stated
"So don't be reckless and venture on your own. The two of us will stick together, anything happened to each of us, will affect the growth of the tower, so stay vigilant and be on your guard, whatever happens, just inform me"
I then nodded in understanding her words, while I grip the strap of my backpack. I then asked her
"So... Where are we heading"
Lucrane then faced upfront, and muttered as she replied
"Pass the [Boulder of the Mountain Pass], just north of the [River of Twin Falls], we will be heading towards the [Deep Forest of the Forgotten Ruins], which is just, or almost inside the border of the empire of the east and south. There is something there that we needed in order to fully understand, everything the tower have, maybe not everything, but it will still be helpful in managing the tower"
I then took a deep breath, steeled my heart and nodded
"Yosh! Let us go then!"
Lucrane then nodded as we both then started walking towards our first destination into our expedition.

Some of you might be complaining as to why they are venturing outside the tower when the title of this series states about tower defense and yet they are going outside, why? The reason is simple, this is my book, and I am the author
Joke aside, what they are doing is something that both of them needed for the tower's growth, so chill and enjoy the series. It will take a while before they come back though

[The World of Turret] is the world that I got transported into, was a world where towering towers emerge like a weeds here. Back in the million years, the first ever tower appeared. The humans back then, or the people that were living back then, was curious about the existence of a new, and unique structures. Many tried to venture in, but only few emerge victories with treasures of wealth, and weapons of power in hand. But after they conquered the first tower, 2 more emerge out of nowhere, but rather than cautiousness, everyone was more aware of the treasure that this structures of unknown being have stored for them to take. Many of them conquered towers after towers, until everyone suddenly realized the mistake they have taken, the continously emerging towers doesn't seem to stop, even how many times they beaten the towers.
Many of the great [Sage] and unfathomable [Scholars of Great], did their best but still none found the clue why, and how is this happening, not until the first emperor of the lost kingdom of the east, came and resolved some of the mysteries of the towers, as he managed to find a clue of this mysteries. After deciphering and analyzing the door that was blocking their path in solving the mystery, they were then able to open one of the doors that unravel the viel of secrets, which where they found the control room, or the [Center Main Control Tower], where the management of the tower came to be.
The continent that we are in, was shaped like a battered 4 edges star, it has 4 islands that was surrounding its side. At the northwest side of the continent, has a shaped of a leaf, in the southwest direction formed a shaped that is like a tooth of a baby, while at the southeast has a shaped that resembles a broken small shovel, and at the northeast side has a 2 islands above it - one is much bigger than the other.
"Each island is being occupied by different parties, and the same goes for every regions in this continent"
Lucrane voice out
"The north region is home of the strongest alliance in the continent, forming a pack between the {Witches}, and Humans. They are being led by an emperor who is know for both of his tyrannical ruling, and gentle hands. The south region is being govern by {Dwarves}, they are people who tend to love the smell of iron, and the sound of coins, both greedy and spiteful, and truly arrogant race.
"Do they like wines? Or any alcoholic beverages?"
I asked, truly quite curious if what those authors wrote were true. Lucrane then responded to my inquiry and muttered
"Not all of them, as alcohol tends to get in the way in their smiting, especially when they are full focused to their work. They tend to get away from alcohol that may affect their smiting precision, and impactful hammering"
"I see"
"But they do make the best alcohol in the continent, but of course they weigh equal to their quality"
She added
"The east region is where the {Elves}, {Fairies}, {Faeries}, {Tree Nymphs}, {Dryads}, {Druids}, and {Spirits} dwell and live.
"Wait, what is the difference between {Fairies}, and {Faeries} anyway?"
I asked, halting Lucrane to her explanation
"{Fairies} has an appearance of an adult woman, and very gentle and kind race, while {Faeries} has more of a child like structure, a mischievous and quite horrid race. But the {Fairies} are mostly the one everyone tend not ot get in the bad side, and truly feared about"
"Why?"
I asked in a puzzled tone
"The most frightening thing about nature is that, the goods one are mostly the most vicious one, than those who knows evil. *The hands of a [Saint] is carved from blood, while the {Devils} claws were painted by wrath"
She then looked behind her, and looked at me and added
"Just because they are gentle, doesn't mean that they aren't evil"
And smiled, which brought me shivers down my spine for some reason
"How about the {Tree Nymphs}? What kind of race are they?"
"Everyone much prefer to call them {Tree Folks}, they have a body of a tree, either those grown ones, old and tattered ones, or the younger saplings. They walked like a Human, and talked too. They are quite the sturdy folks, as they mostly built in defense"
She then added
"The one that living in the east is what we call the [Shizen no Chikara], be careful when venturing there though, they mostly good at traps, tricks, and hunting, and one wrong move in your end, then I'll see your self being a slave of theirs, or already buried"

As she was explaining the different sides of the continent, and what race was occupying each region, I was tentatively listening while looking around the area we are moving in, discerning every nook and cranny of the forest, being vigilant to any unforeseen circumstances. But
'In every anime and Manga, {Beastkin} tend to be portrayed as a barbaric nation that only talks about strength and whatnot, following the law of the jungle and etc, never knew they were politicians here, truly shocking. Whoever made them like that, you have my respect'
"The 4 Islands that was surrounding each side of the region has its own rules and law too. For the 1st island near northwest, the one that looks like a leaf is being govern my {Dark Elves}, {Elves} that was banished from the [World Tree's Blessing], and was cursed from there on. The 2nd island that was located at the southwest, that looks like a tooth, is the biggest one among the other islands, which is being occupied and lead by the strongest race in the whole continent, {Dragons}. It said that the island itself is from a gigantic fang from the {Dragon God Armageddon} itself, that once lived this place. The 3rd located at the southeast is by far the smallest one, its where the [Void] is located
"[Void]?"
I inquired, as I remembered that anything that has the name void in it, is quite the unknown race, or those alien like beings. The void I only known of is from a MOBA game I once played before, and my favorite champion among them is that hot woman that has a mother that looks like a walking sting ray

Back at my golden days, she's one of my best ADR, but now? I sucked. I'll be lucky enough if I got 5 kills in 30 minutes. I don't hate her mother but as my teammates sucks at ganking when using her, I suddenly hated her

'Demons are the most used evildoers in every fantasy anime and Manga, that I have read and watched'
"The race in the [Fiend Island] is divided by {Demons}, {Devils}, and {Archfiends}"
"What is the difference between them anyway? I thought {Devils} and {Archfiends} are just {Demons} with different names?"
I asked which is totally, or mostly true though, considering back in earth that everyone referred anything that associated with dark entities, as demons. Devils are demons, demons are devils, and so on, so it was truly confusing
"{Demons} has no horn, while {Devils} has 2, and whereas the {Archfiends} has wings"

I suddenly yelled as I asked, which almost made me stumble down, when I accidentally trip on a dead trunk. Lucrane then looked at me with a gaze of question

"[Demon Lord] is a rare class among the race of {Fiends}. They have an overwhelming might, and earth shakening ability. They once roamed the continent before they got repelled and cornered, until they isolated themselves in that island. Any of the {Fiends} race could become a [Demon Lord], they just need strength and skill to back up their claim"
"Wait {Fiends}?"
"{Fiends} is the race of those {Demons}, {Devils}, and {Archfiends}"
"So that is why you call that Island [Fiend Island]"
Lucrane then shook her head which puzzled me
"Humans in the north region are the only one who called it, until it became well-known, and well-used term, it's just their way of mocking them, or calling it in the most shortest term as possible. Back before it was called [Fiend Island], it does have a name on its own"
"Let me guess, [Demon Island]?"
With a bit of smug on my tone as I proudly proclaim my word, Lucrane then gaze at me, and sigh as she smiled
"Thanks for letting me know that you don't have such a good, naming sense"
She said as she turn back, and started walking again, which left me puzzled
"What-why?"
"Only those who have bad naming sense would call it [Demon Island], like why make it obvious? Name supposed to have meaning not just names..... I guess. Maybe we just have different taste, but I won't let you name anything back at the tower from now on"
'Ouch, I think someone just got hurt'
"I also have feelings by the way, if you have forgotten"
I thought as Lucrane just did a curve ball shot in the start of the game, and I hope no one got hurt by that perfect pitch though
"So what is it called then, oh Ms. Caller?"

Lucrane then chuckled and replied
"It's once called in the ancient times as, [L'isola Depravata dei Peccatori]"
'Okay I give up, this world naming sense does have much more spice'

I then duck over a huge dead trunk of a tree, that is making an arch shaped bridge, and replied
"I guess he has a bad naming sense too"
Can you even blame me it I prefer [Celestial Realm] than [Heaven]?
"So what is this [Mephistopheles] thing that {Lucifer} owned anyway?"
I asked, Lucrane then replied as she detour to the left, away from a giant boulder
"[Mephistopheles] is a higher class compared to the [Demon Lord] class, or to be precise, it's a class that a [Demon Lord] could attain, if they gotten stronger and powerful. An upgrade version if you prefer"
We both then climb up to a small hill. I then asked another question as I suddenly recalled that if there is a demon lord, there should be
"Do you have a rare class called hero here?"
"Hero? What is that?"
Baffled, I then replied
"You know, those people that was blessed by Gods, has unparalleled strength, and unfathomable ability. They also have the classic unwavering resolve to help those who are in need, and unyielding spirit to save the world from the grasp of any..... Ummm... Enemy and such? And sacrificing himself for the better good of the world, like those things maybe? Do any class has those properties?"
As Lucrane listened to my words, as how I describe the heroes that is being written in each fantasy books, and anime, she was having this hard expression that she can't properly express her puzzlement, or can't fully comprehend what I just told her and respond
"I'm sorry but, we don't have that kind of idiot in this world, you might have asked the wrong continent"

I was completely taken aback, that her words made me speechless. But what comes after, truly did made me sympathize to our beloved herocrite (hero + hypocrite)

Kind hearted, that they will do everything without a price, maybe they will, but not as much to that person you are referring to. I really am wondering where the hell you get this idea from, that hearing such out of this world moron exist. Sacrificing your life to save the world? Such stupid ideology, and for what? To save a world from the grasp of the Gods? How? Those beings are out of norm for us humans, not even the most strongest {Ancient Dragon} that already reached thousands of level, could dare to confront, and a feeble person dare to face such entity? That is stupidity, not bravery"

I was just silently listening to her as she roasted our wondrous Boi, that is oh so blessed, beloved, beta harem, certified with thick plot armor bullshit, and a cringe existence of a clinched human, that is chosen as one and only, our dearest protagonist. Rest in peace my dude, rest in peace
Lucrane then halted as she just remembered something, and turn her direction towards me and stated

"He was quite make believe on his own self, that he ended that way. After he got here, he keep screaming about being chosen by God's grace and mercy, that he was here to liberate everyone from the grasp of the {Demons}. He also keep shouting about this weird chant, and posting like a drunkard idiot on the street"
'What the fuck hero-sama!?'
Lucrane then turn her head a bit and added
"He was also keep grinning like a pervert, and whispering in loud voice about his dream of making harems and whatnot, in short, he was pretty nuts"
Trying to calm myself not to face palm, I asked
"So how did he end up inside the {Dragon's} stomach anyway?"
"It was said that he was venturing the woods when he accidentally confronted a {Dragon}, but rather than backing down, that idiot challenged it, which turned him into a charred charcoal, and a short snack for the beast"
".... Oh my God"
"He was completely burnt into crisp, and I think the {Dragon} stated that he wasn't even delicious to be a snack"
Okay our hero got roasted everyone, literally roasted, rest in peace brother
After our discussion which didn't yet left from my head, as I keep chuckling along the way, we then continued our journey.
The forest that we were passing through were quite larger than the trees we have back at the tower, different Birds were chirping around as they flew, hop, and stand atop of the tree's branch. There were also bugs and other insects buzzing around, and loitering the forest ground. Beautiful flowers also grown around the forest, in different shapes, colors, and quantities. Ferns of any kinds grows beside the tree, or even at the trunk of it. Rocks and other stones from a medium size, to a larger one could be seen, forming a different style and formation. Sun kissed the ground as it pass through the leaves of each grown trees, and whistling winds pass and breeze us along the way.
As we climb another small hill in a shaped of cracked egg, with 2 medium size boulder beside it, and a small tree growing atop, I then asked Lucrane about something that I almost forgot
"Lucrane"
"Hmmm?"
"You keep mentioning about classes but you never told me about it"
"I'll explain that on you after we found a placed to settle down. Remember, we aren't inside our tower, the woods here is dangerous"
I then nodded in understanding, and continued walking. As I was lost in thought as how {Fairies} fly if they do have a milf appearance, with those gigantic papayas. Do they fly with physics on it? As they needed to bend down a bit as they flew, as gravity pull those papayas down, or, they bears the anti-gravity hotcakes, and just fly with a strengthen posture? Quite curious I was, that I almost stumble down as I hit a medium size tree upfront. Lucrane just stared at me with a concerning look

After we passed a short river along our way, we then stumble down to an intense fight between two monsters. Lucrane and I then took a bit of detour to not get noticed by those monsters, and turn their sights on us. The monster we found *battling each other to death has a huge horn like a Moose, with body that of a size, comparable to an Elephant, and six legs attached to its giant body. It has red eyes and sharp fangs, and also quite hairy like body like a Yak
"Those are {Red-Eyes Furred Moose}, they are level 105, so confronting them head on is akin to suicide, so be quiet and stay on your guard"
I then nodded. The two of us then slowly make our way, away from those beast

After we got away from those monsters, we then once again crossed another river, but this time, it was quite longer and wider than the first. Trying to find some bridge for us to crossed, we then found a stumbled dead tree that connects the other side of the river, which we then used it to crossed the river. As we got back from the forest, we then came across a field of flowers, blooming with magnificent brilliance. The flowers we saw has the same features of the flower that my grandmother planted, a Dahlia, coated in lavender paint.
After we crossed that flower field - while picking some for a souvenir back to our tower - we then greeted by a wide plain meadow. The plain meadow was so wide that we couldn't see the end of it. The grass of the said meadow was so tall that it reached till our waist, and any ambush that may occur, will truly occur. We can't take a detour as the meadow prettily occupied a wide space, where the trees couldn't dare to cross. But if we do wished to take a detour, we might take quite some time before we can cross the wide meadow, and seeing that it almost afternoon, we only have few choices to make here, a shortcut towards the meadow, or a long way using the forest deep, but even so, the decision will still be on Lucrane to take
Lucrane was vigilantly discerning the meadow. After a few minutes came, she then raised her left hand up and summoned a sword from the ring she was wearing, and seeing her like that, I then took a deep breath and summoned my own sword too.
The sword we are using is a long Knight Sword, which has more reach than the Iron Sword we have back in the tower, it was quite sharp and much better in overall quality. The sword we only using isn't made by any simple ore, but one that was highly procured, a fantasy type ore that always been the highlight in every series, a [Mythril Knight Sword] made from a [Mythril Ore]

[Ring of Equipment] had the ability to store any kind of equipment, whereas a [Bountiful Ring] could store fortune, and wealth. And lastly, [Storage Ring], has the ability to accommodate any different kinds of materials. And each ring has their capacity of how much they can store

The wind then blows as it swayed the meadow's grass, dancing along as the breeze whistle its touch.

Only the silent whisper of the wind can be heard as we crossed down the quiet meadow. With our eyes peeled open, vigilant to our surroundings, we're cautious and steady, as we took step by step.

Another blow came as the wind pass through us, breezing us with its warm, cold touch.

Without looking at her as I keep gazing around us, I then asked
"The bracelet? Why?"
"Just do it"
And without further question to be asked, I then summoned the bracelet that we bought almost 2 weeks ago - 11 days - from my [Ring of Equipment] on my right hand's finger.

Silently, I then activated one of the bracelet's skills, [Area Detection], that which let me feel any hostile enemy in 8 meters radius. As I activated the skill, my overall senses then jumps up, letting me feel the surrounding area more thorough, and accurate than before

Feeling the surrounding area around us, I keep my guard up as I thoroughly feel all the nook and cranny of the 8 meters radius that I could sense
"Found anything?"
"None, I don't feel anything. No movements, no impulse, just a silent meadows"
I replied to Lucrane's question, but rather than being happy about it, she then took her stance which surprised me
"... We are surrounded"

Trying to retort to her words, I then suddenly realized that skill I just used has its own flaw

My heart then started thumping, ringing like a motorcycle engine that is making this expensive sound. I then keep looking at my left, then right then front, then back at my left again, until Lucrane just elbowed me, which greatly surprised me as my heart just almost jump out of my throat
"Take a deep breath, relax, and calm yourself. If you panic now, just tell me what word should I write in your tombstones, and I will glady write it"
I then took a much deeper breath, and tried calming my anxious nerves.
"Don't worry about anything, and used every skills and arsenal you have. As we are outside the tower, the amount of Exp we will get won't be divided among us, so we can gain much more in here. But as we use [Share Experience], we both will get the same amount of experience, by how much we two killed.

She then quickly intercept the enemy, as she spins from her right, and slashed 2 of the monsters that just jump out from the meadow. After she dashed forward, I then bend down and moved my left foot forward, for easy maneuver. I then use [Keen Eyesight] to let me better see my surrounding, while still activating my [Area Detection]. And as I used [Keen Eyesight], I then saw shadows rushing towards me like {Fishes} in a river, swimming as they moved, swift and silent.

After I dodge the surprise assault from the monster, I then used [Quick Feet] to propel myself forward. I then rotate myself to the right, move my right foot forward, as I swing my sword with great force

I then activated one of my swords skill, [Holy Brilliance]. [Holy Brilliance] is a passive skill, which will activate every time I hit a [Perfect Strike], but if you used it, it become an active skill. It's like a combo between active and passive skill. So during this fight, I have atleast additional 2% boost in my attack power.

And cut the head of the monster before me

As the monster pops out from the grass, I then bend down and slid myself, and spin my body to the right to avoid their sharp claws, that they swung with their long, nimble arm - thanks to my [Quick Reflexes] - and cut them by halves in their abdomen using [Sword Slash]

I then stood up, as I rotated myself after I got behind the 2 I just killed, and slashed my sword towards the neck of the 3rd monster, that just jump out from the meadow

I cursed as I dashed forward and confronted another 2 monster up front. As I dashed towards them, I then stomp my left forward, and swung my [Mythril Knight Sword] using both of my hands

A sudden strike then came below me, aiming towards my feet. I jump back to get away from it, and saw a long neck of the monster with its wide jaw. I frowned as I stared at it, before I dashed forward

While I rotated from my right towards my left, I raised my sword up and brought it down, as I cut the 2nd monster that was dashing at me in half

After I beheaded the 4th monster up, I was suddenly attacked by a monster below me, aiming at my archored left leg, and took the opportunity to bit me while I cut its comrade down. I then brought my sword down, and cut the long neck of the said monster

After the fight that lasted for almost half an hour, all the enemies that were yanking at us, sunddely halted and vanished, which give us more time to rest and calmed our body. While I was catching my breath, Lucrane took the opportunity to store all the monster materials inside the [Storage Ring]

After that, we then headed straight towards the forest which Lucrane helped me to do so, as during the battle, I only lasted for 6 or so minutes, until I gotten exhausted, and mostly relied in Lucrane throughout the battle. Though I assisted her, but not much like the first 6 or so minutes of the battle. I received 9 wounds in my body, 3 were fatal and almost close to my vital parts. There was even a time that I almost about to say goodbye to my lil bro down there, as a sudden attack came below my legs. I almost piss when that attack took all my life in a flashed
We then settled down a bit, just a few meters away from the meadow where Lucrane started tending my wounds. We did bought some [Potion of Healing], and [Flask of Recovery], but Lucrane was quite careful and cautious to her decision. She told me that as they were going to much dangerous place, wasting all the medium and large potions will be a waste, so here we are, getting my wounds stitched after I drank 1 [Vile of Healing]
"Just rest for a bit here, I will look around the area to find a place for us to hide during the night"
I then nodded and stated
"Just be careful"
Lucrane then went out, which leave me here alone in the wilderness. I summoned back my [Mythril Knight Sword] and placed it between my legs.

After a minute or two, Lucrane then came back, which is also the right time where my wounds started to almost fully recover, except for the fatal ones.
"I found a huge dead tree just nearby, we can used that as our resting camp until morning"
I then nodded. Lucrane then help me got up. The two of us then started walking towards the spot Lucrane found.
After we settled down inside a giant dead tree, which completely accommodate us, with enough space for us to sleep, and not just sit, and enough distance for us to have our own space. Lucrane then started making a fire inside the tree, while I took some of the food we packed inside the [Stockpile Pack], the bag pack that we are carrying with us. It mostly stored some meat, vegetables, fruits, spices, beverages, and other ingredients for cooking that we bought from {Henry's} [Item Stall]. It was during his last visit that I realized that behind where the weapons were displayed, was the section where foods and other ingredients were stored, it was truly surprising how large that stall was, compared to the outside look of it.
[Stockpile] is a large storage item that could fit quantity of materials, than the rings we have. It can store at least 5 times larger capacity than the [Storage Ring].

If you choose to become a [Fighter Class], and wanted to become a [Sword Master], then the requirements will needed you to follow the way of the swords, or something of the likes. But as for the [Special Class] [S], can only be opened or obtained by an exclusive, and special requirement, they tended to follow the non-norms, unlawful, and beyond the line of work, example of that is the [Blood Mage].
