I moaned as she unleash another assault, directly hitting me with a forceful strike at my abdomen

As I gritted my teeth in pain, after receiving another blow at my abdomen's left side
Ka-pow!
"Gahhh!"
I screamed as a powerful straight punch went towards me, hitting me with a great force, causing me to be carried by her assault
Thud!
"Gahhhhhrrrr..... Cough Cough..... Fuck!"
"Like I told you, don't keep relying on your skill too much! Use your own senses"

I yelled as I groaned and grovel on the ground, holding my stomach that she just hit with a great force
"Just fucking be honest with me! You hate me aren't you!? Aren't you-Kuhh! Fuck!"

"I think I broke a rib"
I exclaimed in a low voice, as I keep groveling and swaying on the ground, tightly wrapping my arms on my battered body, that this barbarous woman just used as a punching bag, mercilessly
'It's no wonder she is still single'
After the battle with the pack of {Goblin Hobbits} that was being lead with a {Goblin Hobbits Alpha}, I just then got my first ever [Monster Drop], a skill from the {Goblin Hobbits Alpha} itself, [Quick Reflexes]. After I got that skill, Lucrane then told me that we should practice using that, and as we are about to head out and venture the outside world. Having another set of skill is fortune itself, especially for someone like me
"We will train your body, so that you will be able to used that skill perfectly time, and timely synchronize with your other skills"
"Why?"
I asked
"[Mastery Points] is another version of [Level Experience], to which let your skills level up, and reach further upgrade, and fundamental growth. [Mastery Points] could only be achieved or raised during this process:
1. During combat: [Mastery Points] can be much easier to obtain or raised during combat, as you can thoroughly used it to either defend yourself, or to attack your enemy.

<><> When you did a [Clean Strike] which gives you a +2 in your mastery. [Clean Strike] can be gain by cutting your enemy in one swift, and flawless attack

<><> When combining your skill with others and able to achieve [Clean Combo], which will give you a +2 [Mastery Points] in all the skills you used in that combo. [Clean Combo] can be achieved when killing 1 enemy, while being able to used 2 or more skills in that one strike, performing a clean hit.
<><> When you combine your skills and able to gain [Perfect Combo], which will let you get +3 [Mastery Points] in all the skills you used to kill 2, or more enemies in one perfect, and powerful assault.
<><> Support type of skill, or what we call [Buff Skill], could only gain [Mastery Points] during combat
2. Non combat: practicing your skills won't give you any [Mastery Points], but when you do, it's only when you are using your skill with a mindset of defending yourself against your enemy, or attacking your enemy. Simple swings using your skill won't let you raised any [Mastery Points], but using it to strike your enemy upfront will let you do so. Another thing to remember is that, when using your skills, your posture, movements, reflexes, and how you used that skill will needed to be remembered, and perfectly executed - maybe not perfectly, but mostly - as it will reflect if you can gain the necessary [Mastery Points] for that, or not.

She then cracked her fingers as she approached me, smiling with joy and anticipation, making my body quiver in fear

She grin and spoke in a devilish tone
"So grit your teeth, cuz maybe that will be last time you are having them"

She then propelled herself towards me, dashing like a wild Boar

Which resulted on me, receiving a direct bash of that wild Boar, almost making my jaw dislocated from my head
After what happened at the first minutes of this training we are doing, I was now groveling in the ground, receiving punches, after punches, and after punches, and making me stumble down the ground, and groan in pain, as if I have diarrhea and a headache at the same time, not once, neither twice, but if I counted rightly, this is my 30th time begging the ground to wrapped itself to me, and send me to where my beloved grandparents were

And that person who is causing me this amount of pain, really has the guts to lecture me with a disappointment, while having the greatest time in her life, as she mercilessly beating me as if I was her ex. And that barbarous woman was standing above me, and looking at me
You might be asking why am I not fighting back, and just defending? This devilish woman told me that I needed to improve my senses, to be able not only to fasten my ability to decide, and think what action to make, but also to properly, and timingly used my skills in every situation, especially when I am about to get cornered. She told me that I only needed to defend myself against her onslaught of strikes without using my [Area Detection] in the process, as for why? Because she does not want me to keep relying on my skills senses, as not all the time I could thoroughly depend on them. She only told me to use my [Quick Reflexes] to avoid her attacks, while being blindfolded.
Can you imagine, I was totally blind and only could rely on my own senses, to timinly avoid her attacks using my skill. I know she is crazy, but never knew she was nuts. I don't know if she is training me to become the next devil that dares or what, but is there any reason to battered me up like this? Can you imagine, a fully wrapped burrito in your hand, then you just throw it, stamp on it, and then slump it, and called it training or whatnot? Man, I registered to become a manager, not a soldier. And we didn't yet reach a full hour when we started this training, and this woman already beaten me up like I was her cheating husband, like come on girl, chill!
Staggering at bit as I moved my body to my right side, and faced the afternoon light, I then spoke in an annoyed tone
"Time out, time out! I need time out! This is foul! Ref, this is foul!! Where the hell is that damn red card when you need it!?"
I thoroughly cursed as I hold my battered body

"Let us have a rest a bit, then we get back to square 1"
Hearing her words, I then stared at her, as if I was seeing a miracle that just happened before me, before my naked eyes. Seeing me like that, Lucrane then annoyedly asked
"What?"
"I never knew you still have humanity inside you, what a mira-GAHHH!!"
I then yelled as she suddenly stomp my stomach with her barbarian foot, causing me to sway to my side as I hold it and groan.

It was almost midnight after the [Tower's Clock] rang its chime thrice. In this world, the concept of time can only be seen or heard for everyone to know, is by how many times the clock rang its chime: once for morning, twice for afternoon, thirce for evening, and four-fold for midnight. And in this darkness - including the fact that I am blindfolded - I was carefully discerning my surroundings, being on my guard and vigilant, and tried to use all my senses - except for sight - to fully understand what is around me. Listening, I quietly stood there

I then turn my a head a bit to the sudden noise at my right

Taking a deep breath, I keep myself calm and compose, trying to feel which is the illusions among the mirrors

Silence then came and engulfed the whole

I then hurriedly duck to avoid the sudden surprise strike behind my left, as my senses - thanks my skill [Quick Reflexes] - was able to detect a sudden movement behind me

I asked, confirming whether what I heard was right, as my heart thump loudly like a raging Horse, filling me up with vigor of excitement and happiness. With my overjoyed heart, I then swiftly stood up, as I rotated myself and raised both my arms up, and yelled with all the stocked up emotion inside me
"I fucking did i-gahhhhhh!"
"Oops, my bad, sorry"
And all my painstaken hardwork were rewarded with a powerful straight jab at my lower jaw, causing me to faint for 4 hours straight, thank you very much, you damn fucking barbarian

With such grudge on me as I hold my lower jaw that she just jab, I then stared at her. As she saw me with such expression, she then puzzlingly asked

I then turn my gaze away from her, and stared at the materials - a whole body and other items - we got from those monsters that ambush us in the plain meadow. As we are a further away from the tower, the benefits of seeing the status of any monster was gone, but thankfully I have my bracelet on me, which have a skill called [Keen Appraisal], and activates when I focus my sight into something

"When a monster die, their [Mastery Points] will gone back to 0, declaring that they have gone for good, but as for humans, {Beastkins}, {Dwarves}, or any non monster ones could still have their [Mastery Points] intact, or the same as when they were still alive before they die"
"For what reason?"
"[Sage] and [Scholar of Great], hypothesize that it's their remenants of pride, guilt, or maybe both, none knows why, but"
She then looked at me and added
"If there is, then only the Gods have the answer for it"
I then looked back to the other items that was drop along with the monster whole dead body

As I asked that, I then looked at Lucrane, completely bewildered. She then stared at me and asked

Hearing her reply, I then suddenly just noticed that there is indeed a vile drop item from the monster we took down, and remembering that this is a fantasy world, where physics and logic doesn't exist. Trying not to sway the awkward thing I just did, I then continued checking the other monster drop

After I have looked to each item that these monsters dropped, Lucrane then started dismantling the monster to procure its materials, from its sharp fangs, to its edged claws. While she was doing that, I was tasked to collect all the drop item these monsters dropped.
After a few minutes came to hours, we were able to finished each of our tasked, and begone to move again. In all 110 {Six Legged Serpent} that attacked us, I was able to obtain 110 pieces of [Orb Skill] - 22 pieces of [Paralysis Claw], 33 pieces of [Sharp Fang], and 33 pieces of [Swift Nimble] - with 22 pieces of [Poison Vile], and 33 pieces of [Worn Knife]. Whereas for Lucrane's side, after dismantling the {Six Legged Serpent} into parts that we can use and be sold, and for all 110 of them, she was able get 220 pieces of [Six Legged Serpent's Fangs], 11 pieces of [Blood Gems], 6 pieces of [Condensed Blood Gems], 1,980 pieces of [Six Legged Serpent's Claws], 110 pieces of [Six Legged Serpent's Tails], 87 pieces of [Six Legged Serpent's Heart] - those that aren't chopped - and lastly, 110 pieces of [Six Legged Serpent's Poison Glands], which is quite a quantity of materials we have owned in a single day here, outside of our tower

As I asked, Lucrane then stood up - after she placed all the materials to her [Storage Ring] - and faced me as she replied in a question
"Where do you get all these informations anyway?"
I then shrugged my shoulder and responded
"Well, back in my world, we do have a thing or two back there, why? Did I hit it right?"
"No, because it's inaccurate"
She stated with a stoic tone, as she raised her eyebrow. Puzzled I asked, as I mostly in Manga and Anime I have readed and watched, Adventurers Guild are the one who give out quest, and bought those materials from the said quest
"Aren't the [Adventurers Guild] the one who issued the said Quest? So why aren't they also the one who will procure it?"
Lucrane then nodded as she stated
"Yes, the [Adventurers Guild] is indeed the one who issued those said Quest, but they aren't one who will buy those said materials you took from the Quest they issued, even if there was a Quest partaking about gathering some materials. Inside the [Adventurers Guild], there are two divided desk, the other one is the [Quest Taker and Receiver] section, which is inclined to the [Adventurers Guild], the receptionist there is tasked to receive the finish Quest, or to give approval to the taken Quest. While the other side of the desk is the [Material Trader], and the receptionist who is in-charge of that section, has the tasked to bought all the said materials from the adventurers, who took those materials from their quest. They are from the [Merchants Guild], the guild that is based in trading, marketing, and advertising items and other materials. The bought materials will be bought in a market price value, and prior to the time where the materials has been bought, the adventurers could received additional 10% of the total amount, if those materials were sold in much higher price than the market value it had"
Not completely understanding why, I asked
"Why do they needed to give additional payment when they already bought it from them? And not just that, it was bought in a maker price value, which seems to make the [Merchants Guild] in-"
"In the losing end? Is that what you meant?"
As Lucrane finished my words, I then nodded
"Yes. Buying their materials at a market value, then giving them additional payment seems to be quite a bit of a loss, than a gain to me"
Sighing, she then responded to my inquiry
"Its for an advertisement purposes"
Baffled I was, I once again asked why
"I don't get it, why advertisement? And what will they advertise anyway?"
She then smiled at me and spoke
"My dear silly, when someone bought your goods in a market price value, then added additional cost when it was sold in much higher price, would you let it go? As an adventurer who sold those said goods, would you let it go?"
As she said that, I went in a deep thought, trying to discern between the pros and cons of the situation, and it didn't lasted me a few seconds before I gave my answer
"I... Won't, I truly won't let such opportunity slide, but still, why advertising such sim-ohhhhhhhh!"
Fully realizing what she just meant, for a simple yet effective method those from [Merchants Guild] did, made me awe in surprise and amazement
"Correct, they are trying to gather more people by using one simple, and easy bait"
She then took something from her ring as she summoned it, and continued
"This fang that we took from those monsters we just fought, has a market value of 1 silver coin, and 15 copper coins. So if we exchange that money into copper coins, how much do we have then?"
Like a student, I tried wracking my brain, and finding out the answer from her question

"Now think about it, if that adventurer who gained 138 coppers coins than the original price of 115 copper coins, which should be the initial profit that he should have gained, talk about it to its other comrades, friends, or just spoke it out to some passing adventurers, then how many adventurers would take such opportunity then? How many will grab such chances?"
Staring at me, she then added
"Calling it hefty won't justify its amount"
Shen then continued
"If they have gained 10 new batch of adventurers, thanks to that adventurer who shares such news, they should have 11 new people isn't? Then multiply the hefty profit they have gained to the 11 persons who will sell those materials, personally, and directly to them, they should at least have 1, 023 copper coins just from those 11 person alone. 10 silver coins, and 23 copper coins, just from those 11 adventurers only then what if they have more than 11 persons? And let me tell you this, an adventurer are those people who explore, venture, challenge, and directly transverse any unknown places, ruins, and dungeons. They are those who won't give in to danger and lay low if they are curious, so if those people were hooked, and got baited by those merchants simple yet effective trick"

She then made a playful smile as she said that. She then placed the fang back to the [Storage Ring].

She then turn back and stared at me as she heard my inquiry, and answered
"If you sold 110 pieces of those fangs to them, you will be gaining a total amount of 12, 650 copper coins, or 3 big silver coins, 21 silver coins, and 50 copper coins. Now, if they sold that twice the amount, they will gain 7 big silver coins, and 8 silver coins, or 25, 300 copper coins. Now deduct that by 10%, you be gaining additional 2, 530 copper coins, or 25 silver coins, and 30 copper coins. 15, 180 copper coins - which is your profit - minus 25, 300 copper coins - which is the profit they have when they sold the materials twice the amount - will let them gain a total amount of 10, 120 copper coins, or 2 big silver coins, 31 silver coins, and 20 copper coins, with short amount of 1 big silver coin, 10 silver coins, and 30 copper coins, when they bought the materials to you. And multiply that by 11 people, they should be gaining an amount of 111, 320 copper coins, or 1 gold coin, 6 big silver coins, 28 silver coins, and 20 copper coins"

I forgot to add this in my Dark-Ages book but I'll show you all how it was calculated so that everyone won't going to get lost
111, 320 copper coins - 1 silver coin is 100 copper so - 111, 320 ÷ 100 = 1, 113.2 or 1, 113 silver coins, and 20 copper coins ( as. 2 =. 20)
1, 113 silver - 1 big silver is 35 silver - 1, 113 ÷ 35 = 31.8 (this is where it gets tricky) use 31 x 35 = 1, 085 - 1, 113 = 28, what happened to the 8 then? That is crossed out, or ain't needed, you will only use .(then no.) when it's from copper coins to silver coins, as you are dividing a whole 100, which will give you an accurate amount. And if you used. 8, it will end up as
80 - (35 x 2) = 10 so 31 + 2 = 33 - - - > 33 x 35 = 1, 155!? See everyone, don't believe in every decimal, and fuck math and calculator. This is where I made a lot of mistakes in my Dark-Ages ngl. And if you just placed it as 8 not 80 it will end up as
31 x 35 = 1, 085 + 8 = 1, 093, why? We are going to check if we are right by multiplying them back to what we divided them into. So 1, 093 x 100 = 109, 300 + 20 = 109, 320 which will give you loan, debt, and bankruptcy
Then..
31 big silver and 28 silver
31 big silver - 1 gold coin is 25 big silver so - 31 - 25 = 6 - - - > 1 gold as (25 x 1 (gold) = 25)
Like I said everyone, I'll make sure all my novels are in the realm of realism as much as possible. So that is why, if I have a time machine, I will slap those mofos who added letters in math, like wtf due!? Just add the whole alphabet then dipshit!

"[Orb Skill] can't be sold as we can easily procure them in every monster we encountered and battled with, and also, only one skill of the same kind can be owned, so having those with us is just a waste of space. Don't worry though, after an hour or so, those [Orb Skill] will disappear"
She then turn around and about to go back to our camp, when I suddenly asked
"How about this [Worn Knife]?"
