His miserable existence continued until one fateful night when he met his demise due to unforeseen circumstances.

Chen Wei's words abruptly halted, sticking in his throat under the stern, icy glares from Shen Hong and Xiao Se.

Xiao Se, after giving Chen an icy glare turned his attention to Alex as he opened his mouth to argue further.

However, he was interrupted before he could utter a single word. Wu Lina stepped in, her voice echoed through the silence, "We don't have time to waste, let's move on." Her words were simple, yet they carried an air of unquestionable authority.

Shen Hong and Xiao Se reluctantly turned their backs to Alex, their eyes still flashing with anger and resentment.

With no more words exchanged, they continued their journey.

Their path was fraught with encounters with Qi beasts of varying strengths. But in the Voidland, a world teeming with creatures that thrived on Qi, such encounters were commonplace.

The weak Qi beasts that crossed their path were easily killed, serving only as mild distractions from their arduous journey.
