Life Happened

"WOW!" Jake and Charlotte exclaimed simultaneously the moment Haewon led them into her workroom, where she spent time drawing and painting whenever she was home.

"I know, right? I thought my eyes would pop out of its socket the first time I saw this place when I was still a kid, and guess what? Even now, I feel the same way each time I walk through the door. I've missed being in here," Haewon said with a deep sigh as she looked around the room.

"The studio is like a work of art itself. An architectural work of art," Jake said, and Haewon beamed a smile at him.

"Yeah. It was designed for my late grandmother on her eighteenth birthday," Haewon said with a proud smile.

"Your grandmother was an artist, too?" Jake asked since he had not exactly known that piece of information about her.

"This is beautiful. I've always known you are good, but this right here is on another level," Charlotte said, pointing to one of the portraits hanging on the wall.
