Tang Jia Li, the Crown Princess of the Tang Empire, was accused of the murder of her father, the Emperor. The same night, she was deposed from her royal title and ordered to be beheaded. When she attempted to run away, she died at the hands of her enemies.

While embarking the journey of revenge, she gets entangled with these five noblemen, finding Friendship, Loyalty, Rivalry and True Love.

Jia Li held her breath as she felt his warm exhales against her skin, soon followed by the warmth of his lips.

She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

"Why did you allow him to go?" Yu Chen chastised Xianwu.

"I can't help but wonder why Wangjie sent such an ineffectual assassin after me. Does he underestimate my abilities?" Xianwu muttered, paying little attention to Yu Chen's question.

"Aren't you fortunate for that? If a formidable assassin had come, you might have been seriously injured," Yu Chen retorted. "However, I'm genuinely surprised to see your combat skills; you're far more capable than most," he added.

"I used to diligently train alone in the wilderness, putting in the effort to shed those extra pounds," Xianwu responded.

"You are already on the radar of the Crown Princess' enemies. You should tell about this to your father and the Emperor. This is the second time you have been attacked. Don't you care for your life?" Yu Chen looked concerned for him.
