In the well-lit practice area, bathed in the torchlight's glow, Wangjie gripped the sword's hilt tightly, eager to hear the report from the assassin he had dispatched to eliminate Xianwu. He was half-naked as he had been practicing with a sword for the past one hour.

"Your Highness," the assassin began, "Lee Xianwu has a message he wishes to convey."

"Go on," Wangjie granted his permission.

"Prince Wangjie," the assassin relayed, "Lee Xianwu proposes that you await his presence within the palace, instead of dispatching an assassin to end his life. He advises against underestimating him, as he possesses formidable martial skills. Furthermore, should you choose to eliminate the assassin, Lee Xianwu pledges to reveal your true intentions to the Emperor."

The assassin faithfully conveyed the exact words that Xianwu had entrusted to him.

"You failed to kill him and brought this message for me," Wangjie muttered, his jaw clenched in anger.
