"Guh– Guh– Guh- What!?" Aubrey sputtered. 


What was this man talking about? How can someone like HER date Rhyland Leslie Darling of all people?! Aubrey knows she's not ugly but she knows she's not pretty either. Compared to the kind of people Rhyland is known to date, she is nothing in the looks department. So there's no way for her to attract his attention especially not in THAT way. Come on. The man was prettier, smarter and more talented than her. He is basically superior to her in every way so what would she have that would make him want to date her? Is this some sort of trick?
