Also, there is more of a stat involved part of the system that has been introduced in the later chapters(63). Experience isn't visibly tracked until this point - up until then it is still gathered and slayers do grow slightly stronger from fights, but there's no way of knowing how much has been gained until the chapter it's introduced.]

God Slayer: The Tale of Humanity's Last Stand

It was decided that Lucius was to be Axel's opponent the following day. They were both itching for a fight so there was no issue on agreeing to it.

Lucius had a nicely cut head of black hair that was completely shaved on the sides. In his left ear he wore a long bar-like earring dangling down as well as both of his arms were covered in tattoos. Even though he could have a temper, he was actually pretty quiet for the most part. Which made them question him even more.

The fight was to be held at an arena that Gray had constructed not too long ago. As the leader of the city, he knew that bored civilians made for ones that were constantly on edge. So he built the area to host sporting events or the occasional death match.

Axel vs. Lucius, Part 1
