Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

It took a few moments for him to straighten his thoughts before he followed Liam to the campfire, only to be met with many curious gazes that almost made him want to turn around and march right back, but he curbed the feeling because he understood their reactions.

It didn't remain quiet for long however, as a groups started playing music and Kurai noticed that quite a bit of food had been placed around on the tables.

Someone mentioned some alcohol that they'd salvaged from the slavers' camp and from there the dinner turned into a full-blown party right before Kurai's very eyes.

People laughed as they danced and Kurai turned to ask Hozumi whether she knew the cause of the celebration, only to notice that she was already dancing with the rest of the group, leaving only Liam standing by his side.
