Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

As curious as he was about the tower, he first wanted to head to the dungeon to complete the quest, thinking that they would then be able to take the time to explore the place, but Liam convinced him otherwise, "It's right on our way there and it might contain some records about what you can expect to find within the dungeons. We can also stash some of our gear there."

Kurai thought about it for a moment before he nodded, "I guess it wouldn't hurt to take a look..."

As he spoke he moved to gather the things around him and he almost dropped everything as he moved to pick up his blanket from his bed, only for one of the lumps to start moving.

Liam gave a low growl and pulled him back and behind him, only for the cover to slip from the lump, leaving the both of them staring sheepishly at the strange being that had started following Kurai after he left the Slavers' Den.
