Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

The moment it occurred to Kurai that he didn't just have to sit there and wait until the woman decided on what to do with him after she got her answers, a strange sense of calm enveloped him and he concentrated on using Abyss' energy to break the bonds instead of taking his chances with an AOE like 'Seraph's Blessing'.

Neither of his two captors seemed to believe that he had a way of escaping, so he relished in their shock as he calmly shook off the ropes and stood.

"Okay, that looked quite badass," Lin's voice held both laugher and awe in it, but Kurai ignored it in favor of disarming the knight before knocking him out with his own blade as the knight charged at him.
