Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

Kurai waited for a bit longer to see if it wasn't just some trick meant to catch him. After all, she had been leaning in quite close and he was sure that she had snake-like senses on top of being a hybrid.

"Don't be so sure of that." Kurai almost jumped when Kura spoke in his mind.

He tilted his head slightly, "Why would you say that?"

Kura shrugged, "They are hybrids. Unfortunately, this means that, while their eyesight has improved, their sense of smell seems to have lessened from what I've seen in our time here."

Kurai gave a slight sigh of relief before he heard a cautious voice echo through the room, "Is someone there? There must be, I caught a glimpse of you before SHE came. Please, I won't harm you. I need your help."
