Mortifae

Kurai Tachi is a normal student who just wants to study and do well. Lin Hayashi is his childhood friend and roommate who seems determined to spend the rest of her life playing games.

When Lin purchases headgear for a chance to enter the beta of the newest VR game 'Seradeihn', Kurai suddenly finds himself trapped in the game in an Avatar that he doesn't know how to use instead, but not for long.

Soon he finds that the game itself may hold a link to memories he'd long ago thought lost and the picture they paint proves to be a lot more sinister as they expose a plot that would shock the world as well as the other dimensions that soon become involved.

Seradeihn

When he woke, it was to find that Lin had fallen asleep as well and he was immediately on guard, but a glance around revealed that it wasn't nighttime yet so he knew that he couldn't have slept for too long.

After he used the bathroom to fix up his appearance he ventured outside, only to find that the sun indicated it to still be mostly early in the morning and he frowned as he realized that they had lost an entire day.

A hand suddenly clasped his shoulder and Kurai just barely stopped himself from throwing a punch in fright as he instinctively turned around, only to find Thane standing behind him with a smile on his face, "Good morning, did you sleep well?"
