Picking Petals

There once was a sunflower and a black mage. The black mage was a weird one for he saw potential in this flower. The sunflower was just an innocent flower living out her days in a field, till one day the giant that is the mage, walked upon her in his black cloak. She suddenly was confused as to why she was shaded for she had never met the darkness before. Then randomly, she was picked from her spot.
