Once everyone has arrived, Wish begins the meeting.
“Alright, now that everyone is here we can begin the monthly guardian poker game?”
Yes, you heard it right here folks, the monthly guardian meeting is just an excuse for them to play poker and do drugs. Torak transformed himself into his human form and dealt out the cards.
“You all know the rules,” Wish continues, “no magic, no powers, no flipping the table, and except ending outcomes, and don’t ask ur goddesses for help either, you know who you are,”
Torak and Allan pause and look at each other with the most guilty expression. Then the meeting/poker night began.

Back in the Ethereal realm, Yuri's training is soon to commence.
“YURIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII” Luna screams at the top of her lungs.
Yuri jerked out of her sleep and fell out of bed extremely surprised. She made her way towards Luna’s voice when she heard Vienna’s.
“SHUT UP YOU DAMN MARSHMALLOW” Smack
When Yuri got to the dining room where the two girls were, Luna was rubbing the back of her head and Vienna looked annoyed. Yuri was kinda confused but decided not to speak about it.
“Looks like the sleepy head woke up ey,” Vienna says with a smirk. Yuri became flustered, she didn’t quite know why though.
“Well,” Luna started “since everyone’s here except Guardian Jason obviously, we can eat”
Yuri looks down at the table where the food supposedly was and is instantly confused.
“Um, what is this, I don't suppose you have any mini suns anywhere do you?”
Luna looks at Yuri then looks at Vienna then back at Yuri, and bursts into laughter.
“I-Im sorry, wheeze, it's not even that hehe funny, but gasp, I can’t stop laughing hahaha”
SMACK “Owwww, stop that you”
“Anyway,” Vienna starts, “you’re human now, so you have to eat human food, you no longer have the ability to photosynthesize, so you can’t literally eat the sun anymore,”
Yuri looks a bit hesitant. She didn’t think that becoming “human” would mean no longer being able to absorb the sun. Although, she could have sworn she felt that sensation of sun absorption in that bed. Almost like she was back to her original form, she felt that warmth as it penetrated her soul. She sensed the light, energizing her still.
Luna looked at her with a knowing look, “You won't be able to photosynthesize anymore, yes, but we will teach you how to harness the energy of the sun, soon you will be almost as powerful as Guardian Jason,”.
Feeling a bit better about the situation, Yuri nods and sits in a chair close to Luna. Vienna is a bit too intimidating for her. Looking at the “food” again she is confused once again.
“Sooo, um, how exactly am I supposed to consume the energy from these things,”
Luna bursts into laughter once again and Vienna hits her yet again.
“Just watch us little sunflower,” Vienna states calmly.
Vienna picks up her spoon and scoops a bit of creamy mashed potatoes and puts it in her mouth, she chews for a second then swallows. Yuri follows suit and as soon as the potatoes touch her tongue, she feels a marvelous sensation.
Her eyes seem to sparkle as she consumes all of the potatoes, “WhAt Is ThIs MaRvElOuS cReAtIoN, it's so tasty, I wish I could have had it before,”.
Luna looks at Yuri completely sobered up and answers, “Those are mash potatoes, they are potatoes, milk, and cheese mushed together, to make the creamy sensation that is what you have eaten girly,”
Yuri begins to try the other items on the plate, starting with the chicken. She bites into it and is overwhelmed with its flavor, practically bursting with spices and juices. She moved on to the green beans, they weren’t quite as amazing as the chicken and potatoes, but still amazing, they were slippery but flavorful.
Luna and Vienna explained to Yuri about all the tasty foods around the realm. The stories they told seemed so foreign to Yuri, they became things she aspired to eat. That seems kinda silly, but look she was a flower till recently. Luna told her of street foods and pleasantries, such as pizza, burgers, ramen, takoyaki, and tteokbokki. Vienna told her of delicacies and tasty game, such as steak, sushi, ox tails, pie, and cheesecake.
After dinner, Yuri walked back to her room in a daze, she couldn’t believe the world was so much more vast than her little patch in the field. No idea that she could aspire to do or experience more than just trying to absorb the sun. She was excited to begin her journey here, for the first time since she’s been here she was glad that Guardian Jason had chosen her among the rest. She was thankful, and told herself that she would be loyal to him forever, she would stay with everybody for as long as they would have her.
As Yuri was contemplating, she heard the loud front door close.
Guardian Jason must be back, I should go greet him.
She rushes over to where he is but stops and peers around the corner. She watches as he walks past her, seeming more powerful than before, the shadows that surrounded him seemed more overwhelming. It was almost as if everything covered by darkness was under his dominion; she then noticed Jason stopped in his tracks.
“Come on out Yuri, I know you're there,”
Yuri walks around the corner to where he is a bit timid. The closer she gets, the colder she starts to feel, she feels a shiver run down her spine and she stops, his darkness has become way too overwhelming. It was almost terrifying, was this his power, was his power at its highest in the dead of night, the exact opposite of her. He was darkness, she was light. Just imagine a night of the new moon, he would be unstoppable. It was at this moment she realized the great honor it must have been to be chosen as one of his compatriots.
Jason reigns in some of his overwhelming power and comes closer to Yuri, he reaches up towards her face and wipes away her tears. She hadn’t even realized she was crying, she felt so many emotions in that moment; anxiety, fear, gratitude, happiness, sadness. She felt all of these things but she didn’t know of these feelings, all she knew was that she had much to learn.
After maybe 30 seconds, she sobers up, takes a small step and speaks,
“Welcome back Guardian Jason,”
A small smile makes its way onto Jason’s face and he replies
“Thank you, for greeting me Yuri, and no need to be fearful, because even now your emitting the sun's light…”
She tilts her head, a bit confused.
“It is quite late, you should hurry back to your room, the night isn’t all that safe for an innocent little flower like you”
Yuri nods and hurries to her room. When she gets there, she jumps onto her bed already feeling sleep taking over her.
I wonder what tomorrow will entail.
