Adrian's eyes glowed like it did when he fought against Shaktar. Swirling flames engulfed his right arm.
"Hahaha, that same trick you used against Shaktar. Fool!" Disco taunted.
The swirling flames released immense heat, steadily raising the temperature around him.
'Is this guy really an F-rank?' Storm couldn't help but wonder, as he felt the rise in the temperature. Adrian then boosted of the floor like he did last time, only several times faster.
'You don't learn.' Disco threw out another set of his disk blades.
Adrian easily evaded them, but this time he was wary. 'They say once between twice shy.' Adrian thought to himself.
Like last time, he approached Disco head on, covering the distance between them. "Collider Smash!" Adrian shot out his fist aimed at Disco's head.
"Fool! You are done for." Disco grinned. Several of those disk like blades surrounded Adrian, most aiming for his legs.
Adrian's senses were heightened, due to the kind of pain he had just felt moments ago. It was something he would never want to experience again.
Disco grinned in self satisfaction as he believed Adrian was done for. Suddenly, Adrian unclenched the fist which he had hurled towards Disco, spreading his palm wide.
[Exploding Dynamite]
*Boom!*
A burst of thick smoke erupted from his palm, blowing up in Disco's face.
[Collider Smash: Maximum power!]
Adrian slammed his fire propelled fist into Disco's face knocking him out cold.
"I think that does it!" Alexis turned to face the silent audience whose jaws were dropped in shock.
"He used an underhand method!!" A male student protested, breaking the silence.
"There is no such thing as an underhanded method in battle, you have to use every weapon or trick in your arsenal to achieve victory." Alexis replied, shutting up the student.
"Who made you our supervisor in the absence of Mr Leo, your nothing but a self appointed jerk. Why do we have to listen to any you have to say?." Another student questioned.
"Do you have a problem with it??" Ryan looked into the eyes of the student, sending shivers down his spine.
"N-n-no." He muttered.
"Now, sit!" Ryan ordered in a threatening tone.
"That would be all for today." Alexis concluded.
. . .
"Am sorry there is nothing we can do." A nurse said to Adrian and his friends.
"It would take at least a month for that arm to be regenerated by an S-rank healer. It would be impossible to do it before the preliminaries commence." The nurse concluded, exiting the ward.
"I think you should quit." Ryan spoke up.
"Yeah, I second it." Alexis added.
"You've gotta be kidding me. Do you know what it took me to get to this point, I've done crazy things, I've literally lost an arm to participate in this exam and now your telling me to quit?"
"I won't, I'll prove to you that I am not a loser." Adrian angrily exited the ward.
