The Exams: Gravity Fall

"Welcome, welcome our dear parents, ladies and gentlemen! My name is Jay Dam." A man in a black vintage suit and a bow tie announced.

"You are all welcomed to the 25th annual Arachis preliminary exams." He added.

"The purpose of this tournament is to give all four classes the privilege of competing for the position of representing the school at the Imperial Tournament. For any victory earned by a student, a single point would be awarded to that class. In a situation were a student loses, no point will be awarded. The class with the highest number of points wins." He continued.

"There shall be no such thing as a draw. A victory can be earned either by a knockout or a forced submission.

Please, give a round of applause to the  contestants. He concluded.

The audience roared in excitement, cheers and whistles could be heard from every corner of the Grand Arachis Arena.

Author's note:{The training center and the Grand Arachis Arena are two different places.}

The Arena was constructed like an amphitheatre. It had a large circular fighting ring, surrounded by a circular  fifteen meter high wall which separated the audience from the fighting ring. The fighting ring was further surrounded with an almost invisible energy barrier to prevent any stray attacks. The Arena was partly covered at the top, excluding the wide circular fighting ring.

Author's Note:{ Just picture the Roman colosseum, with a stadium like covering at the top.}

Each contestant from the various classes stepped into the large fighting ring. They all wore jet black, leather battle suits with varying stripes at the sides.

Class A had a blue coloured stripe, B had Yellow, C had green and D had red.

"Woah! My mom is here." Adrian whispered to Alexis as they stood before the large crowd.

"Yeah, so are mine." Alexis replied expressionlessly.

"You may all go back to your various cubes." The host said.

Four doors opened at the walls of the arena, leading to each class's waiting cube. The cube was a 50 by 50 room which isolated each group from the other. Also, each cube was equipped with a large screen  from which fights at the ring could be viewed.

"Let's welcome our first contestants

Silver Anderson of Class 1-A versus Philip Hand of Class 1-C!"

Two of the four doors opened, each revealing the named contestants.

Silver had a thick black coloured hair with silver tips, his pupils were silver in colour which was obviously the reason his parents decided too me him silver. He had a light complexion and a slight muscular build. Philip on the other hand, looked as ordinary as ordinary could be.

"Are you both ready?" The hist asked.

"Yes!" Both boys replied almost simultaneously.

"Begin!!!!"

*Kwrak-Kwrak--Kwrak-Kwrak*

Philip's bones made creepy cracking sounds, it was as if his bones were being grinded and reattached repeatedly.

His body started to bend into weird shapes and forms just like one would see in a horror movie. Suddenly, two hand like bone appendages tore through Philip's body, each one below his arm on both sides of his body.  Silver watched as muscles and tendons weaved themselves around the bone appendages, forming  human like hands, only without a skin covering it.

"Is that it?" Silver asked expressionlessly.

"You mean, you made me wait just to see you grow more arms?" Silver looked slightly angered.

"Come at me, then you would see how I'll pop open your skull." Philip smirked.

"If you say so."Silver stretched his arm towards Philip.

"Gravity Fall: 13%"

*Boom*

A gravitational force impaled Philip to the ground, he lay flat unable to move a muscle.

Philip gritted his teeth in pain, he felt as if  a truck had being placed on his body.

*Crack-crack*

The ground gave way, as Philip was getting crushed deeper into the ground.

"Surrender!!" Silver spoke like a God looking down on his subjects.

"No." Philip said, struggling to regain his footing.

"Then, so be it!"

"Gravity Fall:30%"Silver increase the gravitational pressure by more than  double.

The audience could only watch in silence as blood spewed from Philip's mouths and nose. Tears of blood ran down his face, his innards were being crushed by the increased gravitational pressure.

Repeated sounds of cracking bones echoed throughout the arena. Philip eventually started to  look like  road kill.

"Nev-ev-er, I'll never give up.!" Philip screamed with his last breath before passing out due to the extreme  pressure exerted him.

"Knockout!!!" The host roared at the top of his voice.

The entire arena remained silent, despite the announcement. Many, especially the women were disturbed by the gore sight.

Two men both dressed in a plain white medical attire rushed into the arena with a stretcher, which was used to evacuate Peter's mushed body.

"That concludes the first battle of the day. Please, give a round of applause to Silver Anderson of class 1-A." The announcer spoke through his microphone.

. . .

Back at the waiting cubes, most students were discussing the battle (massacre to be precise) they had just witnessed. They were all struck with fear. Class A had just effortlessly displayed their formidability in less than three minutes.

"I don't think anyone would want to fight a Class A student after witnessing this." Alexis said to Adrian.

[Please welcome Alexis Knight of Class 1-D and Flora Dandelion of Class 1-B] The host's voice came from the TV screen.

"Your on." Adrian said

"Yeah, it seems so." Alexis said, walking towards the waiting cubes exit.
